Again, I could name 50 well known artists who are not great singers technically. Madonna being the ultimate example. But she is a creative force and has hunger and drive.

Madonna writes her own songs and as Shaun said came along when we were devoid of talent. How can you compare this era to that?

Of course talent is not an exact science but its one of those things that you know it when you see it and I dont see it in Cher.

Actually, a great voice might well win you friends. Who really knows?
