I think you're all underestimating Marys choices. One is probably Streisands most loved song and the other is a massively covered 70's disco classic. Can see them being very popular with the older viewers.

So you go to clubs much yeah? Rihanna is often played in the clubs, actually I can think back to when she released Pon De Replay and ever sine then everytime i've been out at least 2 of her songs are played everynight.

I totally agree with you as to Rebecca having Amazing Grace, that is a rediculous song choice, its like Cheryl had no time to choose carefully one and just threw that one in as an afterthought since she needed 2 songs.

I think Cher should do well with those as well.
