It erupted between Helen Wood and Ashleigh Coyle in the Big Brother house tonight.



It was all a consequence of this week’s shopping challenge, where housemates must keep Big Brother’s giant battery charged up.

BB have been tempting them with luxury items which drain the battery, while housemates can gain charge back by making sacrifices.

And most of BB’s evil temptations involved providing the housemates with info on one another.

In one part of the task, Ash and Marlon offered the chance to watch a body language expert comment on the housemates, and they accepted.

Judi James told the boys that Ashleigh Coyle was a snake, Helen Wood was cold and Stephen Goode and Kimberly Kisselovich’s relationship was rather ‘interesting’.

After hearing of the news, Ashleigh took her body language reading as a positive thing but Steven moaned: “The s**t is flying at me and you today.”

Later, Helen, Kimberly and Jale got the chance to get some inside info and exchanged battery life for watching Ashleigh confessing to her “evil” plan to get Ash out of the house.

“Are you ******ing kidding me?” Helen reacted as the trio watched.

Within minutes of leaving the task room, Helen was telling the world about Ashleigh’s private Diary Room conversation with Big Brother and it caused it all to kick off.

Helen told the group: “Basically, Ashleigh is the biggest two faced b***t sat out here.”



“Oh that’s nice,” Ashleigh calmly replied “I don’t actually care.”

Helen went on about Ashleigh’s plot to to get Ash out and her being “wedged up Toya’s arse”

But Ashleigh took in her stride, replying: “****** me, you’re an absolute embarrassment. Get over your self.”

“You’ve just bee exposed for what you are, two faced,” Helen hit back, before bring up Ashleigh’s age repeatedly.

And after originally starting an argument with Ashleigh, Helen then told her not to bother to reply as she claimed: “I’m not getting into an argument with an 18 year old and being banded a bully.”

She added, cryptically: “The only thing I can’t say to you is because of your age.”

Kimberly then also started attacking Ashleigh alongside Helen, at which point the boys got involved and told the girls to back off.

Winston, Christopher and Mark all stepped in to tell Helen and Kimberly to calm down.

“I can’t listen to this,” Mark said, “That weren’t funny to watch. ”

Well after seeing the clips I have changed my mind BB shouldn't show what is said in the privacy of the DR EVER.

I know they showed more than just Ashleigh to Helen, Kim and Jale but it was completely set up for Helen to go out and attack Ashleigh when they knew for fact how it would play out, not to mention they have already issued Helen with the warnings then set her up to go off on one.

It's not good viewing at all IMO.

Exactly, well said. That was my point earlier, ot was never about Ashleigh specifically. It was just very uncomfortable to watch.

It's awful it's uncomfortable and that's not what I want to watch.

Apart from the nominations, private conversations in the DR should stay private and not shown to other housemates.

As much as I like Ashleigh being exposed, I hate how the secrecy of the Diary Room and confidentiality of nominations is now anything but.

The DR is part of the show and its not unusual for snippets to be played into the house. This is just another BB crappy edit to gain reaction for a dying show.

Disgusting, the diary room is meant to be a confidential place to talk to big brother, where you can vent/discuss your feelings/emotions/thoughts, in no way should it be outed to other housemates, unless an actual task is happening at the time

Based on these videos, Ashleigh clearly comes out on top. But it's obvious they're doing everything they can to create drama around her when she's up for a eviction so as to get her out.

Firstly, she hasn't done anything all that wrong. She has just bitched about people (which they all do) and in what is ultimately a game, tried to manipulate the situation to her advantage, which involved getting Ash up for eviction. Other than that... Well, what? Told a couple of lies during the nominations proceedings as part of her plan? Called them vile and disgusting? They are.

She correctly identified something being off with Kimberly. She felt she was an untrustworthy character. Should she have taken her issues to Kimberly rather than just dismiss her as someone she doesn't like or care for and have a bitch about from time to time? Maybe. But, Kimberly is a closed book and not someone you would ever particularly want to confide in because she's not someone who gives anything of herself back to you. This is a woman who 3 days after Steven asked her if she had a boyfriend still hadn't told him the full truth and only after the message from his mum did she. In the 5 weeks they've been in there then, she has withheld the truth, lied about it, rolled her eyes at Steven when he asked for it and broken down in tears when she could do so no longer. All the while sharing a bed with him and who knows what else. In short, Ashleigh was right about Kimberly.

Helen? Where do you begin? She made Chris feel like something she had trodden in on his very first night in the house. She repeatedly called Jale a "slug" and threw in "with elephant ears" when that wasn't nasty enough, for the first week until she got a warning. She trampled all over what many Christians in this country still hold most sacred in attacking Danielle's religious beliefs. She threw her toys out of the pram because of an off the cuff remark by Matthew and then screamed guttersnipe abuse in his face - an incident that could easily have turned violent. For that she was put on her final warning which is the only reason she has toned down her behaviour of late. Here she is now behaving like the leader of a pack of animals preying on someone who they have been repeatedly handed information on and footage of and who nevertheless seems to be able to hold her own against the lot of them.

Ash? Throughout all of the above he's been by Helen's side. Her trusted lieutenant who if he ever has objected to the way she treats people, I haven't seen much evidence of it. He's also contributed to it himself with caustic remarks about people's weight, and calling women pricks and maggots.

As for Ashleigh... Since last week she has had footage of her shown to the other housemates, not once, not twice, but three times now (including commentary from the ghastly Judy James), all of it designed to put a target on her back and none of it anywhere near as bad as it is being made out to be. In between all of this her plan backfired, Matthew was evicted, the eviction mob were heard chanting "Get Ashleigh Out", and now she's up for eviction as well (amazingly Marlon is still way ahead of her on every poll). In the face of it all she has held herself together remarkably well and shown a considerable level of strength in doing so.
