No, it's not about Ashleigh having fun or not. It's about her pure hypocrisy.

Notice how she avoided the question about her stay being based on honesty.

The complaints here about Ashleigh are about her being a hypocrite I think,

it is not the first time she has pretended to like Ash, the other main time is when she was sober and offered to swap places with him when exposed as being the power housemate.

She put the tears on then as soon as the rest of them were told she was the power housemate

& lied straight away about how sorry she would be if Ash went when we have all seen clearly that she has went out of her way twice to make sure Ash was up for eviction.

Ashleigh had never done that before with Ash - in fact the opposite - her whole 'evil plan' was to manipulate the others into nominating Ash ! And there she is in front of an upset Helen - snuggling into him saying 'i'm so glad you're here' !

It was a total and deliberate wind up - very clever, very subtle, very mean. Even Ashleigh fans are saying that - and hailing it as some kind of 'victory' over Helen.

How many times has Ashleigh got drunk in there though? I have a feeling that the reason she doesn't drink much in there is she obviously doesn't handle it very well

If she had been sober I'd agree but I'm pretty sure she was just drunk. A lot of people are like that with a drink in them.

It is sort of hilarious that people have a go about Ashleigh not making an effort to get on with anyone, and then when she makes an effort to be friendly with Ash, people jump straight up to shout that she must have an ulterior motive...

Can I just point out a couple of things:

1) Ashleigh was saying nice things before the other 3 came over and that she believes that she is very miss understood. Granted she was drunk, but wasn't it said a few weeks ago that drunk brings out the truth? Or is that just when people are being mean?

2) Ash sat down beside Ashleigh. It wasn't the other way around. Christopher had taken over most of the couch, Ashleigh was sitting well past the half way point. Ash made the choice to sit in the remaining gap. This "forced" Helen to sit more to herself and in a much lower position. Ashleigh was clearly drunk and its not unknown for drunk people to rest against those beside them. Had he not sat there, it would never of happened. Not everything is a diabolical plot.

lol I think Ashleigh is a lovable, nostalgic type drunk, she likes people more when she's drunk rather then being a mean drunk. I don't believe the truth necessarily comes out when you're drunk, I think it can change your mood and either make you more amicable to everything or more angry/argumentative

I liked Ashleigh for weeks. Recently i've had my doubts about her. But her doing that put the nail squarely in the coffin for me.
