so some of you guys are saying that if you were in the limelight and on one of UK's biggest soaps and you found out your partner was a pornstar and it was in newspapers around the country, you wouldn't break up with them?

If he told me he was gonna do porn it might have been a different thing but he went behind her back and did it, either that or he did it before they went out and just kept it secret from her. What he did was wrong and regardless of how sexual it was, he kept it from her. I would have dumped him too

If he was doing it since before i started dating him, i wouldn't care, it's his job, it wouldn't be ideal, but i wouldn't dump him over it, no matter how far in the limelight i was

If he was doing it before you were together and he started a relationship with you, didn't tell you he was a porn star and he kept that secret from you, what else could he be keeping secret from you? When i go into a relationship i put all my cards on the table and i'm completely honest and i'd expect my partner to so the same. 'It's his job' - fair enough but if he kept it a secret, it's a problem.

Yeah i get what you're saying.. but i just don't see the big issue with it, i personally think it's a bit of a cop out for her to dump him, considering the article says that they were extremely happy together.. If i loved someone and found out that they had been doing a bit of porn to earn some money before we got together, i wouldn't dump them for it, I'd probably come up with a few rules and stipulations and have a few cross words about the secretiveness of it, but no way would it make me break up with him.

thats a pretty big secret to have from a partner, being a porn star is too much for some people to handle. My cousin is dated a porn star for a couple years but she knew where he was going, who he was sleeping with and exactly what he was doing in the scene he's doing as they discuss it - Like a healthy couple. A secret is a secret - big or small. If you keep something, anything, from a partner it could be a problem.

Take Lorna for example, she's a high profile soap star that never makes the headlines but the one time she does it's because of a secret that her boyfriend kept from her, that caused nationwide embarrassment for her. If i was her i would have dumped her faster than one can say Eastenders.
