Removed a few posts in here. If your post was one of them you were probably infracted or warned giving you the reason, if not then your post was probably quoting one of the deleted comments.

We can all speculate but 'experts' on both sides have their point of view so whatever side of the coin you fall no-one knows for sure how successful or not it will be. Keep saying it is a disaster is not fact - just your doom and gloom opinion and achieves ***k all! |

My view is (I know you didnt ask but bored of your presumptions) its kinda like knowing about your surprise birthday party. I think a lot of people who voted to remain are expecting to show up to their birthday party and see its taking place in a barn, with none of their friends being there Whilst the people who voted leave are expecting champagne on ice with guest cameos from their favourite celebs I cant honestly imagine that any of these scenarios will be true, it will likely be somewhere in the middle. I will credit it where its due and fault it where its due, I will also disregard people from both ends that do not, and explain to them why I think they're moronic.

EU won't last another ten years any way, the standard of living have went way down in europe over the last number of years, and the break-up of the EUSSR, is going to happen if you like it or not, poland and hungary are most set to leave in the far future, because merkel has got far to much power in the EU, and because her apple cart has quit the EU, where will she get the 1.5 trillion to support million more refugees who will be staying in germany, we have got out of the worst nightmare that britain has been in for a long time.

To be honest ALL of the non-Tory parties need to crumble completely and a new viable opposition needs to rise. There are far more people who DON'T want Tory rule than who DO want it (only 37% of the popular vote), the vote of that other 63% just needs to unite behind one alternative.

Also get rid of that awful Diane Abbott.Putting her on every BBC program as the voice of the Labour party does them no favours. Some of Corbyns policies are great but then he has this far left mentality on top of that which ruins it. Watching him on Peston on Sunday the other day(Sunday infact ![]() I don't think a brand new party would ever gain ground with the red/blue roots so deeply entrenched in England.I know that Labour will always win every election in my area so it's pointless voting. It doesn't matter who is in charge of the party or what they do there may as well only be one option on the polling cards where i live. |

A true center party with a focus on creating jobs and trade, sensible about benefits for the out-of-work but fit, but generous to children / those with disabilities would almost certainly destroy the Tories. We don't seem to be able to find that middle ground. A party with SENSIBLE and realistic plans for getting people into work / trained / educated if they are able, but that doesn't cruelly nip away at the truly vulnerable the way the Tories have been. I don't really understand why it doesn't exist. I think, partly, the problem is that people are deeply entrenched in the politics of the 20th century and it'll be very hard to drag people away from their "roots" without a complete overhaul of the system. |

I believe myself the UK now badly needs a proper PR system for electing govts.
That will never come from the Conservative party however. |

I still think were infinitely better off under this tory lot than the last labour disaster
however looking into the future, labour will need to start again as will the pitiful lib dems, UKIP and the national parties...all of whom have the most lilly livered slippery wishy washy bunch of spineless charmless hypocrites in charge |

freedom of speech? Mother nature gave us a tongue. If one is offended, get over it, simple. I've taken offence at many things in my time but just had to get over it and move on. I suppose if we all bite our tongue there won't be any arguments, glory be, perish the thought. People need to 'man up' or should I say 'people up' don't want to be seen as sexist, I might offend *tut*
