To be honest though Parmy, that example Smithy posted and you called banter is still not what I would be wanting my 13 year old to be seeing either. The dick stuff is all mainly banter too - I find pussylips to be pretty degrading to women - sounds awful really. I'm not trying to be difficult here but what I am saying is that your idea of banter is not always the same same as someone elses. If we are going to have that rule - then all sexual banter of ANY kind would have to be banned

There is an 18+ group Nicky but don't think it gets used much. you can't really have an 18+ thread as there is no way that you could restrict that to 18+ on the main boards.

That's the thing though - just because I find it horrible doesn't mean every woman will - I have a male friend who absolutely abhors the word prick but most people think that's tame. Its all about what offensive to you and its not always offensive to anyone else.

Its all about perception and that's why if a rule were to come in about sexual banter it has to be blanket or else someone will always be offended
