nope, as you get older and your hearing deteriorates you hear less high frequencies. They have whistles for controlling kids that really annoys them that adults can't hear

yanni has the higher frequencies in it, laurel is what hear when it doesnt have high frequency in it.

No because if you play this clipping in a high frequency, it'd sound like Yanny. Like that video that Underscore posted, in low frequency you can hear Laurel pretty clearly (well, more clearly if you're right. )

I hear Yanny yesterday when I listened to it on this computer, but then later I played it on my phone and I heard Laurel so i was thinking it must be my speakers but me and my son heard Laurel but gav and my daughter heard Yanny. I hear yanny now again on my work computer, its so weird

It's both, if you concentrate hard enough you should be able to get your brain to focus on the other one mid-listening

Just focus on the deeper/higher frequency
