It's the opposite at my nearest Tesco - when I say the shelves are "empty" of toilet roll, they are not, there is a huge, conspicuous, pile of the cheapest "value" stuff that looks literally untouched . To be fair it's like sand paper and clearly everyone knows! You'd be better using literally anything else. Piece of old carpet, the shower curtain, a cat...

Indeed, I was in Lloyd's for my daughter's ear drops just before we went to the supermarket and there didn't seem to be any shelves missing stock there . Although, it's a small village pharmacy so they're going to clock people pretty quickly trying to buy bulk paracetamol... Unlike supermarkets where you can get around the "maximum two packs" rule by cunningly taking 10 packs to 5 different self-checkouts .

I'd like an inbetween answer on the poll tbh as it's good to be scared of any disease that can kill you, but obviously it shouldn't be being treated like it's an episode of TWD either with how chaotic our shops are at the moment.

But I am in support of making sure that the disease stops spreading so fast so I am in support of stopping huge public gatherings.

I'm in support of stopping public gatherings forever just cos I don't like crowds. Let's just not do it at all!

It's worrying but isn't scaring me as such , I'm more concerned and irritated by the panic buying .

My chronic sinusitis appointment pushed back from April to October.
Looks like they're clearing the decks to concentrate on covid.

Gonna try and buy more ibuprofen for my sinusitis headaches from our local pharmacy

I know... other conditions still exist too . I'm prone to the occasional, usually relatively mild, migraine so I should probably panic buy a stock of ibuprofen and paracetamol as we're running a bit low and it's missing from the shelves .

Might treat myself to a nice big multi-pack of co-codamol from the pharmacy

I wouldn't say I'm worried. Apprehensive perhaps. We brought my grandmother up today from London, we think she'll be safer up here. Alex's travel plans have been interrupted and he's working from home. I am glad we live out in the sticks and not in the middle of London, though.

Yes this is probably me, we have no cases here yet, plus we live in quite a rural little town, and our house is quite away from the town itself, I worry a bit for my mom and dad, but they seem pretty healthy so hopefully we will all get through it ok.

I wasn't too bothered until Boris' speech yesterday. We are totally unprepared for this and Boris is refusing all the smart options of prevention.

I won't be in danger from Corona and I think I will likely end up getting it since I work in a town centre but I do worry for people like my nan. I'm just getting ready to self isolate if the need arises.
