So I'm 9 episodes through Micronesia and it's excellent. There's no one in the top 10 that I even slightly dislike. As of right now everyone left is either slightly likable or better.

The fake immunity idol episode.

Jason is slowly getting better than a lot of my previous favorites. Also it's a shame Eliza went but what a way for her to go lol... I've grown to like her a lot. It really started towards the end of Vanuatu and then she was very, very entertaining in this season. She went from a "weak" #2 spot in a Vanuatu cast I didn't like to a very strong spot in my top 5 (most likely) of this season which is full of my all-time favorites.

I would've never thought at the beginning of the season that I'd be happy with Jason staying over Ozzy. I still liked Ozzy but he was pretty average in comparison to Cook Islands. I'm hoping Jason manages to stay longer... it's hilarious the way he's getting through this season.

I feel like James has been super irrelevant this season but he's great this episode. His reactions to Erik licking Cirie's fingers in the auction challenge.

Daaaamn Jason getting voted off with an actual idol in his pocket. What a fitting way for him to go lmao.

Also, I just had an epiphany that Natalie suuuuuuucks lol... What's worse than someone embracing the "ice cold bitch" role? She was my least favorite since like 10-11 left but I still kinda liked her until now. Then this full blown self-proclaimed cold bitch persona came out. Bye. I wish she was at least self-unaware to possibly make it entertaining but she wants to play this role smh. Oh well, I needed someone to root against.

I'm on to the next episode now and I probably found this little interaction between Amanda & Jeff way funnier than it should have been but:

Amanda: Can I give my sister a hug goodbye?
Jeff: Nope
Amanda: ..Ok



Final edit: Amanda getting the idol. Sucks that Alexis went instead of Natalie tho.

Omg Erik overtook Jason's stupidity on this one... Giving up the immunity necklace.

I knew Erik's time was coming to and end from watching Caramoan but the whole time I thought he placed 4th in this season. Then midway through this episode I started to remember that the Caramoan premiere mentioned him giving up immunity and getting played.

Micronesia was a damn good season. Definitely top 5 for me, probably 2nd or 3rd. One of the few things that hurt it was there were so many med-evacs and quits (especially if you include Chet & Fairplay as quits) but lots of entertainment and blindsides still made it a great season.

Your micronesia ranking is near perfect! I would definitely go back and watch Pearl Islands before Gabon so then you have two incredible seasons (my favourite 2) back to back!

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna go back to watch Pearl Islands soon, I'll probably just watch it next.

But for now while I'm a little busier I figured I'd take a complete break from Survivor for at least a few days. I've been over-doing the Survivor watching anyway. Even so I'm still not sick of it yet, it's a really good RTV show... I prefer Big Brother to it but it's not that far off. Not sure why I never liked it originally. I guess I probably never gave it a fair chance.

^ That is my Amazon rating. This is going to be a really unpopular opinion but I enjoyed my Worlds Apart watch more than this one :O I think the reason is probably because I had VERY low expectations for WA and my memory of Amazon exceeded what the season actually was like

Started watching Pearl Islands (3 episodes in) and I'm waiting for Jonny Fairplay to get more involved.

Also, even though I like the immunity idols, it's kinda refreshing to watch without it being involved after not seeing the pre-idol seasons for a while.

I gotta get back on my Peal Islands watch soon. It was good too but then I got busy and now Big Brother has started so idk. And I hate just watching like 1 episode every once in a while so I'll have to get back in the mood for a marathon watch soon when I have the time.


When does that returnees season start? In like a year? I really wanna get at least a large majority of the seasons done before then.
