...even in his less known parts, he really does have an incredible screen presence...and his portrayal of Thurgood Marshall is so, so good...and obviously true stories are always a good watch as well...

Yeah, I'm actually surprised after watching so many true story films/documentaries lately of all the crazy stuff that I hadn't actually heard of that really happened

...did you watch the murder case that Josy posted in SD section...i can only see one episode and there should be another one soon but I had no knowledge of it at all before the thread and before I watched...

I was shocked when I heard he died , so sad when he was only 43.

Really talented . The last movie I saw him in was
' Ma Rainey's Black Bottom ' which was on Netflix , he gave such a passionate performance .

...I started to watch Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom a little while ago and then I wasn’t able to finish it and still haven’t...I must get on to that ...Viola Davis is also a wonderful watch...

There was also a little documentary about Ma Rainey and the actors, and they all talk about Chadwick .

Yeah viola is good in everything I've seen her in . great actress .

...I’m going to try to finish watching it this week if I can, GoldHeart ...and I’ll definitely watch the documentary as well...any true story or based on a true story etc, I often spend ages in googling and researching after I’ve watched...it’s a great way for things you hadn’t known to spark your interest, you know...

...it’s such a powerful story, it stayed with me for so long after I watched it...for me it’s Chadwick Boseman’s best role, he was perfect for it...I know that Black Panther is an incredible legacy but so is Thurgood Marshall, I think...I was going to watch it today as well but I got sidetracked with Josy’s murder...and now I think we’re doing an Open the Box for Barry sometime soon...

...although I also loved Blank Panther...this for me is also how I always think of Chadwick ...as Thurgood Marshall...he was perfectly cast and a huge honour to play such a significant person ...

Yeah he was amazing in it, I kept forgetting and then remembering that he was dead all through the film though and that made it even more emotional of a film

...yeah, I did watch it before he died and it was still an incredibly powerful and emotional watch then ...so now, obviously there is a huge layer on that again...he didn’t appear to have contributed anything other than incredible performances, though...?...such an amazing legacy for such a relatively short career...have you seen Da 5 Bloods...?...also an excellent and powerful story and performance from Chadwick ...it’s overall great casting...
