So I took a break from the feeds but now I'm watching this Paulie/Tiffany conversation. Paulie really does say "type thing" a lot. He said that 3 times at least within about 2-3 minutes a little earlier.

Now Tiffany's talking about how Vanessa's first HOH was winning a crapshoot that was similar to this comp so she really thought it was gonna be hers. And then she said she's really good at crap shoots.

Frank slapped Day’s butt and she started crying. Paulie and Corey, saw. Day tried to hide in the have not room, but when Paulie and Corey saw she was upset they followed her in. Frank saw and followed. Day went to the DR. Paulie sat Frank down and told him that it isn’t acceptable to act that way anymore with the females in the house

He hyped it up by going on about how if that happened to sister he'd punch Frank in the mouth, and then when he talked to him he just went on about how Da'Vonne misses her daughter and that type thing but she'll be fine by tomorrow. It was entirely weak-willed and didn't actually address the real issue.

I don't think Da'vonne will be crying everyday about it which you will probably whine about if she did, if it doesn't happen again Day will be fine.. Paulie did nothing wrong you're trying to make an issue out of nothing because you hate Paulie and want him hated because he's a pretty boy. Paulie still remains a decent person and will not be in the same league as Frank soz.

The point is that if you qualify your talk by saying that she just misses her kid and she'll be fine by tomorrow, that downplays and takes away from the fact that what Frank did was totally out of line, which is kind of the point of having this talk in the first place. And if you agree that she'll be fine and it doesn't matter too much since I'm apparently trying to make something out of nothing, Day was PISSED and just about the entire house is pissed for her and this only solidifies everyone's hatred for Frank even more. This isn't gonna blow over.

Not really, he's still making out what Frank did was wrong even if he was sorry and stuff and was joking like he did look sorry but it was wrong. But no one is downplaying anything. Davonne is pissed NOW but if it doesn't carry on (most likely it will) Davonne won't be that angry/upset for the duration of her stay.

I get both sides because it's obvious that Paulie was trying to reason with Frank without being obnoxious and having to worry about having a target on his back, but he shouldn't have been the one to have this talk with him in the first place. I realise he may have had good intentions but it should have been a female explaining why Frank's actions are wrong (imo anyway). Paulie just didn't do a good job of confronting him so I get why people would be annoyed by that, but like I said it's a game so it's somewhat understandable.

Yes I agree, a female should have talked to him about it or Big Brother themselves(fat chance) I would reason with people rather than being so aggressive and angry about it because that's just me irrelevant but that's why I'm thinking Paulie is doing that, I could be wrong but he's not being a dick in that situation like you said but a different word.
