Also leaping up the table is Doogle. Dylan has done a lot of growing up on the forum and that’s reflected in his increased popularity. Though he may only be in his early teens, Doogle comes across as being very mature for his age and always presents his opinions in a respectful manner. So now let’s take a look at some of the reasons why you gave Doogle your points. It’s sad to see Smithy drop another couple of places because if he finished in the top 3, he’d probably land a sponsorship deal with some company and be able to afford some clothes but I guess he’ll have to go without, again. Smithy’s been a popular member on the forum for quite some time now – his obsession with Lady GaGa is so strong that he’s now seen as the de facto GaGa stan on the forum. So what is it about our t-shirt hating meat-dress loving member that caused you to vote for him in your droves? Smithy picked up points because “he deserves them”, because he’s “sassy and hilarious” and because he’s “lovely and I believe he gets too much hate on the forum. I love Smithy.” One member said “he’s brilliant. He makes me laugh and he’s a real gentleman, except when he’s being bitchy, but he’s still a laugh then.” One user said “sometimes I hate him; sometimes I love him, I’m leaning more towards love at the moment and will probably ask to change my vote to somebody else 2347304 times before the actual ceremony.” Smithy’s marmite effect was reflected in another user’s votes, who said “we sometimes don't get along but we are great friends really. We are just too stunning for each other and have quite contrasting views about music.” One voter said they were voting for him because he is “another fellow D12 member. I am legally obliged to include Smithy on my list this year. Smithy is cool.” One member said “even though he never seems to be wearing any clothes, I like Smithy. He's one of the most active contributors to the forum; I admire how he sticks to his guns.” As one member puts it, “arguing with Smithy? Good luck - he’ll either wind you up to the point of a mental breakdown or you’ll give up arguing eventually. Either way though he’s hilarious as hell and his arguments, whether real or (usually) laughable -glares at the Hunger Games- make great reading material. Smithy has his opinions and sticks to them, but that’s by no means bad. He’s a great person and I get along with him well.”
