I dont get the comparison between hours searching google images for a match, and inputting the dimensions of the pictures and that (assuming this is whats happened...but am a bit lost and confused tbh)

I don't even see how that would make it any easier to find the answers tbh, there is tons of images on google that have the same dimensions, so you would still have to have an idea of what to search for in the first place.

Exactly.

And you still have to try loads of different searches to get the image, it's pretty much exactly the same as typing it in without the dimensions, just takes less time to sort through a load of pages of other pictures, if you don't know what to search you're not going to find the correct picture/pictures similar, and if you do know what to search (which is quite clearly every team) then you will find them.

I don't understand why everybody's having a period over it tbh, everyone's managed to find some answers they had no idea about by using google images, some of us were just more aware of what you could do with the software clearly.

I think it was more the mysterious ways Dezzy's team did the Apprentice thing etc that puzzled people and made it look like they were cheating. Not saying they did, but that's what it looked like at the time.

I picked one at random to see if it would work, with the Jessica Enis pic I just googled the dimensions and then "athlete" and its on the first page. I think it makes it a lot easier because you can see/guess which sport most of the pics are from and then that's all you need to know tbh

It's not like we got lucky and went for "SPORTS PICTURES" and put in the dimensions - we used initiative. I was addicted to the 2008 Beijing Olympics so I was able to spot some of them such as Shanaze Reade (I remember her falling off her BMX during the final; she was a favourite) and the sailing pairs.

It's really not cheating at all. The pictures were given to us - we did all the hard work in hunting them down. How you can expect us to not use initiative in a competition is beyond me, and I hate to sound smarmy but you're really just coming off as sore losers.

Okay, say for example the picture was a tennis player - we thought (I think it was 34) was Serena Williams. However by googling "female tennis" and putting in the exact size of the image we were able to find that it was in fact Shelly Ann Fraser.

Perhaps resizing the images would be the easiest option in future if this is a problem for Claudia - but technically if you're giving people images they can use whatever tricks and tools they can to get them.

Your still getting the answers either way, In fact there is less chance of you getting the answers because your not sure if people even know the answers, don't know why people are so bothered if we would have known about that trick we would have done it ourselves and i am pretty sure any of the other groups would have as well.

At the end of the day what we're doing is legit, if any of you lot thought to do it first you'd have done it like a shot and don't deny it. You can't complain about us using google if you're using it yourselves, it's completely hypocritical no matter how you put it across. It's just a matter that we used it better and now people like Judas are sore about it. Like Shaun said it was only useful in the last task and screenshots will eliminate the method we used.

I never said it was "cheating" as such, it might be a bit unethical but I suppose you're still essentially doing the same as other teams, you just found a quicker way of doing it
