Funnily enough, I think both your points are incorrect –and I didn’t say Ashleigh would tear into her. I said she knows Ashleigh would stand up to her – there is a difference.
It is both intelligent and mature (and smart) to avoid any sort of confrontation whatsoever with that vile woman.

Tension between the two of them and "body language" is nothing to do with Ashleigh making her problems known. The whole house no she doesn't like them because she made no effort and would isolate herself in the bedroom or the pod. That's different. Ashleigh even admitted she made no effort to Helen and shut herself off but said she's been making more of an effort over the last week.
Knowing Ashleigh would stand up to her is irrelevant, it hasn't stopped Helen lashing out at others. She knows Christopher doesn't sit back and take it, he rabbits on and explains his corner; she knows Matthew argues back yet she still confronted him a second time.
It is mature and intelligent to avoid petty arguments. But replacing it with petty bitching and gossiping is not.
You keep finding ways to explain how your favourite is better than the housemate you hate whilst ignoring the huge similarities between them.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't expect her to want to get on with her but make her problems known. When you're in a bubble like Big Brother you want things to be as easy as possible.
