Thinking of the most loved poll for instance loads of posts would be just thank you or well done posts and for Birthdays loads of Happy Birthday posts.

I think the exclusion of posts from chat and games, leaves a more accurate reflected result as to posts made on a wide range of other issues and topics.

(I would however, be just as happy if they were included).

Quite right Joey, a post count is a reflection of the contribution you've made across the forum, include C&G posts and it would manly be a reflection of how much you've 'chatted' or spammed nonsense in there

That said, really though I wouldn't miss post counts at all if they were abolished and think it would be good for the forum

..yeah, this really..I'm only on three forums but they all have similar sections to chat and games where the posts don't count so I think it's fine as it is...I never get though, why some threads/gifs/pics etc are ok and some aren't ok because they're all 'spam' as such...

The fact that some people care about what their post-count is means that - if it was made that Chat and Games posts counted - it would just encourage a lot of posts to be made which only have the purpose of increasing a count, and posts like that wouldn't be very interesting for others to read.

So it wouldn't improve the forum.
