I don't think it's as simple as that. Entertaining housemates have left over less entertaining housemates via vote to save also, not to mention the utterly nasty (and nasty doesn't mean entertaining) housemates who have been kept (and their behaviour essentially rewarded) with vote to save.

Vote to evict is the format the show has been known for, I see no reason for people who loved the show on C4 to suddenly hate VTE.

To be honest, neither voting system is perfect. There will always be results that people don't want. It's certainly not a case of "VTE = bad, VTS = good" IMO.

VTS can backfire sometimes (Pav getting saved over Biannca last year being one example) although on the whole it's better for the bigger characters.

I disagree with VTS being a part of a whole civilian series. Although as a one off I'm all for it.

This is what I think too. I'm sure they've said the reason we have no live feed is due to "costs", so why not charge people for it? I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be more than willing to pay for live feed.

I'd LOVE it if they had a special vote where we could vote for the housemates that we want to go and get rid of at least 50% of the twats and replace them with new housemates that WE get to choose from a load of audition tapes!!!

Most of this lot are such crap housemates and they just seem to be getting worse!!!

The livefeed thing would be fantastic but sadly i can't see it happening.

What dumbfounds me is that they have a whole year in between Series to come up with a great show but they come up with an increasingly crap one instead and then panic after a few weeks when they realize what an awful job they've done yet again!!!!

Same thing year after year after year since C5 have been at the helm!

Vote to Save is a crap cop out to keep people in who have no business still being there!

I think the fact Conor (BB13) survived a long time with VTS, including that dreadful 80% against Shievonne is enough to put anyone of VTS.

VTS sucks.

People hold the Channel 4 series in much higher regard which had VTE, than BB12 and BB13, both of which had VTS.

VTS - CBB
VTE- BB

I like it the way it is now.

Having said that, there should always be at least one VTS eviction halfway through each Civilian series just to spice things up a bit and get rid of some dullards.

BB5-BB7 all worked well with a VTE, and those series were the best. So I don't get why VTE is hated.

I wouldnt want mass eviction of HM's, I would like to see some new HM's & I would absolutely be over the moon if they brought back LF, for me that's why there has been a dramatic drop in viewer in reason years, cause for me that is the whole premise of BB watching people 24/7.

You have to pay for Big Brother US feeds and they usually have 4 cameras or a quad camera, plus they have flashback so if you miss something you can always go back to see it. It does not cost a lot either.
