I've gotten too lazy to change mine, plus I found one that I like so decided to stick with it. With christmas fast approaching, I expect quite a few avatars to change for that season.

I change mine a lot coz I'm just that kind of person lol I'm very visual person and i like changing things up (I've re decorated my room like 4 times in the past two years and I'm always re arranging furniture).... I also like my sig and avi to go together so I think of my overall profile rather than look at my sig and avi separately... to put it short I'm very fickle and very extra

I'm a bit of both, I change my avatar whenever a new series is upcoming but still keep pretty much the same format in the design.

I change my ava and siggy every few months, but i think everyone still recognizes me. i use the same ones over and over.

I agree, we all judge, I just think it's not a very good way to judge a persons personality traits by how often they change their avatar. If I were to make a judgement on people who don't change their avatars, I'd say it's because they like the one they have

I think mostly it's because they are more interested in actually contributing to the conversations, and talking to other members, and less worried about impressing people with fancy new gifs.

I'm not looking deeply into it at all, it's pretty straight forward, you made a statement about the personality traits of people who don't change their avatars and now you're acting like that's not making a judgement which is quite bizarre

i think for the most part, the people that have made an identity here, have an identity, and those that don't, don't.

Honestly, i've been here for about 5 years now, and I can probably name only 10 people i recognize right away.

Most people on this forum just fade into the background.
