Hope this ends up being true, I think it's a brilliant idea. I never thought I'd say this, but seeing Helen Wood playing BBCan/BBUS format could actually be good stuff.

It's an incredible idea (though I'd prefer an all out international All Stars series, that's literally a BB fan's dream) but I'd prefer Nikki to Helen really, and I think the former is much more likely than the latter

They could literally go from skyrocketing to my favourite ever reality show by doing something so amazing, or put me off watching if they implement the UK format

That'd actually be the worst outcome for me (but I wouldn't be surprised), the best part of the US format IMO is the house vote and if they're gonna implement some kind of consistent viewer vote it needs to be before the direct control over who is evicted, such as Canada being HoH, them picking a nominee, having a Veto, anything that does not involve the public controlling who leaves

That's the kind of concession I'd be willing to make if the UK were to implement the US format too, a tweaked version but one that still insists the house votes

I'm not sure about what the news will be tbh. On the one hand it could be about possible returnees but on the other the "see it to believe it" is making me think it's maybe about the house (or even the logo)? We'll just have to wait and see - whatever the news is hopefully it won't disappoint.
