I find it weird a parent cold care more about one child than the other based on gender.

If I had opposite twins in the future (for example) and both were sexuality active at 15 I wouldn't lock the girl in her room and buy the boy a box of extra safe condoms.

I think it's awful parenting to care more about one child than another, there's dangers for both sexes when it comes to unprotected sex.
