…yeah I was thinking that Gav would probably like it as well…and now that you know the importance of the beginning as well, I think that watching that again would probably be through different eyes…?…for me it was like a three part thing, like a movie split into three…so I still have lots to go yet….the whole thing left a huge impact on me…

…yeah, I thought you’d like it, it’s such a must see true story and the acting is tremendous…you know with true stories, they’re dramatised for a reason and it’s going to be pretty grim…. John Boyega Is brilliant….

That was a very difficult watch (and not for the reasons I thought it would be at the start ) The "event" itself was so tough to sit through and Freds death was so awful right at the end, I was shouting at him to just lie and get out of there I suppose they don't really know that that's what happened if he was the last one to leave though?

Such an injustice afterwards as well and in 1967 I'm really not at all surprised those scumbags got away with it, they probably would have gotten away with it 10 years ago lets be real

I was really worried there was going to be a rape scene in it and I'm glad that didn't happen, I wondered did it really happen that Julies dress was torn off or did they add that in so I googled it and in fact what they did was worse. I wonder why those cops couldn't have been charged with sexual assault as well?

Yes. However, in the movie only Juli Hysell is forcibly stripped, and it happens largely by accident when Officer Krauss is being too rough with her. Fact-checking Detroit confirms that after the occupants of the motel's annex were lined up and hit by officers who demanded to know who was supposedly sniping from the motel, the two 18-year-old girls, Juli Hysell and Karen Malloy, were stripped naked and verbally harassed. …I’d forgotten the ending and I have to say that through the movie I was annoyingly distracted in trying to recall what the ending was….I’m pretty sure that this movie didn’t get very good critics reviews but I liked it…it reminded me of Memento because of that reliving and reliving that one day, thing….I guess the only thing that I felt or didn’t feel I guess would be more the thing…is any connection between them…but then she did question, should she just let it happen…?….but yeah, we connected with her and her daughters and her mother etc …but we didn’t connect with him…well, I didn’t…it was a good movie, though…very thought provoking…and the ending gave as much sense of ‘closure’ as it could have in that it gave her that purpose and that hope …not just for Linda but for the girls as well…

not a bad thriller, when I first saw it I found it ashame that she couldn't actually prevent the husband's death, and the time lines were confusing at first . And I was surprised she then got pregnant again.
But rewatching it I just accept it for what it is , keeps you engaged and like you said there's the connection with her and the daughters. Like I said it was an ok movie

…I watched Blue Ruin a little while ago and I liked it, I liked Deight’s character and you feared for him all of the way through because he was so out of his depth, type thing…

…I watched I am All of the Girls last night….I had avoided it when I’d seen the trailer….actually I didn’t watch the full trailer, I felt that it was something that was going to be too difficult to watch…?..but I’m glad that I did, as harrowing as things like that are which are true stories…it’s important to know them …for those children it’s important…
