I was in a job similar to this so I can relate on a soul-level. (Differences were the product, that we were driving around East Anglia, exclusively wore extremely smart suits and didn't get high or stay in motels.) Everyone needs to watch this. It's a fun film about what it's like to be completely free and on the road.

This was intense. I kind of had a feeling that Lizzie was right, just because Lola/Rosie looked more like her than either of her parents Those eyes especially when her parents both had blue eyes. Ugh god though what a nightmare situation, how would you deal with that? What a terrible position for Lola as well, they're the only parents she ever knew but she needs to know her real parents. I really wanted to know what happened afterwards, did she ever go live with them full time? Did Lizzie and Mike get back together?

I mean she should go to prison, I know she was grieving etc but she had time to admit her mistake once she knew that Lolas mother was alive. All that pain she caused her and her family, Lizzies life shattered into pieces, her marriage falling apart

...it’s hard to try to imagine really, isn’t it..because when Mark said...’ your darkness is becoming part of Thomas’...(...those weren’t his exact words but similar....)...that was true as well, his time with Lizzie was becoming really unhappy ...and even though, she had her daughter back, that darkness had been with her for so long/it had become a part of her and a ‘typical behaviour’...so it’s hard to think that, that wouldn’t have a really profound impact as well on her mental health...that she would suddenly just ‘be well again’ as more or less shown in the ending...

...I might try The Miseducation of Cameron Post again tomorrow or another time, I’m finding it quite hard to properly get into...I watched Boy Erased quite recentl6 and that was a very similar thing/conversion therapy...?..but it was so much (for me..)...the better movie to engage with...
