People do not appreciate real bands or atrists these days, they like they shiny ones they see on X Factor. Claudia, you are a lover or music, and I know you don't want to see them take over. I can't believe how much the British public has got into this idea, yes there is entertainment, but why let it spoil talents that could have been? Because I bet alot of unfound talent has been trodden on, cos of the X Factor empire.

I do love a lot music, as many on this forum do. But I think the xfactor is just another form of pop, still there is great indie music being made and great artists being signed.

It is possible that xfactor is not great for helping new talent, I don't know enough about it really, but it is also possible that the next generation of singers will have been inspired by xfactor.

That is the thing, I don't mind them being inspired by X Factor, it is just what X Factor has become!!! Sending shiney new artists out, so the nuclear family can eat them up, you know what it is about. It is not what we want in music, if that it is what it has become then it is a real shame and you know it.

Why did Cowell choose a Miley Cyrus song thats already been released this year?
