This thread would never even have had the potential for existence had the forum took it's own members advice and adopted the obvious, entirely logical stance of making it 16+.

And I know, I know, some of you young buggers are smart, but that's the idea. You lot would slip through the net. Kiddies who are obvious kiddies, and not that that's a bad thing but they just don't mesh with an adult forum, would be caught.

That could very well be done. However people could still lie. There is not way a person can tell if someone is old enough. ID is not required to joina forum.

Dont get me wrong, I understand what you are saying. However, some members post do not reflect their correct age. Have you never heard of peadophiles? They lie and are good at it. I'm not saying anyone on here is a peadophile, but what I am saying is the guessing how old a person is due to there posting style may not be a true reflection of their age, so it would be unfair to disallow access to a site without fact knowledge.

It's common sense. Not an uber strict system. We get rid of the obvious ones. I'm not saying everyone should undergo an examination. I know we have a few immature oldies too.
