Absolutely not a mark on either of her arms/wrists last night on BOTS.
The 'stocking' that you could see before she left the house on Friday night looked very much like my sisters splints that she wears on her arms to relieve pain.
I reckon this lazy gutter rag took what Liz said in her article and ran away with it.

And even IF she did self harm in there, there is NO WAY she would have been kept in the house, she would have been removed (& probably sectioned) straight away...

Quote:
The singer says she was left a broken woman because of their explosive rows and secretly cut her right wrist.

It has been two years since Linda last self-harmed and she blamed the comic for pushing her over the edge.

Opening up about her struggle, she said: "I've self-harmed in the past and I did it in the house. I hadn't done it since 2012.

"But that's what Jim's behaviour made me do. He made me feel the need to do it again."

Jim left Linda in tears when he referred to an incident when her late husband Brian Hudson stole cash from Frank Carson at a Blackpool gig in 1995.

The Nolan sister lost Brian to cancer seven years ago and has never recovered.

Linda, 54, said: "After Brian died I selfharmed for more than two years.

"Back then I was very low and went through periods of feeling very suicidal.

"The only reason I went back to that dark place was because Jim brought me there by bringing up what happened."

After battling crippling grief and severe depression in recent years, Linda fears she will never recover from losing Brian.

She added: "I know I will never be 100% happy because I haven't got the man I fell in love with.
"When I lost him I went to a really bad place. I just couldn't face life.

"I had to start taking anti-depressants to be able to cope. I still take them now and there's no way I could have done this show without my tablets.

"But I still struggled because Jim reminded me how much I miss my husband.

"He reminded me Brian wasn't going to be there to put his arms around me and make everything okay." Viewers saw Jim apologise but Linda said she would never forgive him.

She added: "He said it to cause a row and then denied he'd even said it. That's the kind of person we're dealing with. It was stooping to the lowest point.

"He knew it would get to me. When he apologised it made me feel sick. He can't be sorry for it because he knows he shouldn't have said it. It's unforgivable."

She added: "I never once mentioned about his terrible year.

"I wouldn't stoop that low. That's the difference between me and him."

Linda left to boos when she was evicted. But she has no regrets. She said: "I was horrified by the crowd reaction. It was upsetting. But I was true to myself.

"I can close my eyes at night because I know I've been honest.

"If the public hate me for that, there's nothing I can do.

"I don't want people to think I'm a nagging bitch but I don't regret the way I was with Jim.

"It would have been easy for me to pretend I liked him just to get viewers on side. I would put money on the fact the public will eventually see him for what he is - an a**ehole."

I'm no fan of this woman and glad to see the back of her, but I hope this is just the paper being over dramatic, if not, I really hope she gets help and gets herself sorted.

If I were BB I would make her go an have a medical to see if there were any signs of any scar whatsoever, more to the point how old the scar/s were likely to be too.

Is she really that pathetic, BB films everything, if she had taken any knife or anything else to herself, she would have 'HAD' to be removed,if she could cut herself, then she could be a danger to others.

This would reflect badly on BB too if it was in any way true but I think she is lying. sorry but I do.
BB would be hammered for not noticing this on their cameras and dealing with it,she has likely,in my opinion, opened a can of worms here and she could find a massive negative comeback to herself for doing so too.

What a truly awful woman she is, attention seeking and sadly very dangerous too.

Cuts wrists- Blames Jim.

She needs to just go away now. Whether she did or not, blaming Jim is low.

I bet she made a passing comment about "he made me want to slit my wrists" and they've turned that into a big story.

Well if she says something or does something on a national TV show she will get judged for what she says and does.
Surely she would have been deemed psychologically fit to be included in the programme so if she is acting like this clearly she has fooled the selectors.

Now she has said this in a National paper,(I won't say newspaper),she invites further scrutiny and attention to herself.
She has a family and if she does have any tendencies like this then hopefully after her time in BB and after this article, she will seek or be advised to get some help.
For herself in the main but also as to what she may say or do against other people too.

The point is,it is now for her to really move quickly and have this story publicy discredited by herself completely if it has been twisted as to what she really said.
That is if she has any spark of decency about her at all.

To be fair to Linda, Sam said that Jim was going up to her when the cameras weren't on, and saying really horrible things in a quiet voice. I thought I saw him doing that to Luisa once, when his back was to the camera, just at the end of a clip. Nothing had happened to justify it as far as I could see, and Luisa looked really shocked, as if she didn't know where it had come from. She didn't say anything back.

I've thought about the reason why Jim lied when Linda confronted him about the Frank Carson business. I think initially he denied it because the way she said it was a bit ambiguous and not quite accurate. But when she clarifed what she meant, I think he decided to wind her up even more, to get her more upset. I suspect that he can be spiteful, actually. The way he attacked Luisa's appearance in his campaign speech kinda said quite a lot about him. Luisa had made specific points about his behaviour when she nominated him, giving him the chance to amend his behaviour if he wanted to. He could have used the opportunity to shine as a comic, or even pull Luisa up on her flaws and behaviour.. Instead, he slated her appearance in a nasty way and dismissed her as "fake". Everyone is fake. We all have layers of behaviour like an onion - both conscious and unconscious.

I really dislike Linda, and wanted her off the show because she is too unpleasant and controlling. But I also wanted to see what things would be like with her gone. Sadly it's a bit too late now. It's the final, and Jim will just pull out all the stops to be entertaining - such as being wide awake and instigating night-time nonsense with Luisa, instead of being the night-time grump we saw before.

It's very convenient for Linda to blame Jim for her problems. This way she won't have to face them.

I agree. And I didn't think it was ethical for the psychologist to butter her up and give an enormous pat on the back. No-one is perfect, and some balance would have more helpful.

if you imagine that the DS Sunday is to newspapers what dog vomit is to the Perfume Industry then you can contextualise this.

The fact that LInda has even spoken to that filthy rag tells you all you need know about this woman.

Linda blaming all her problems on Jim is ridiculous. Does she even know how crazy that sounds?

When you discuss lies from the press it indicates that the truth isn't interesting enough. This makes the channel 4 big brother look high brow. Such utter garbage. You are fed nonsense and accept it gratefully.

No Liz comments about Linda self harming, nothing about slashing her wrists, her wrists looked fine the night she was evicted...

Definitely. I really think if she was that unstable she should have been removed straight away.

And saying Jim made her self harm is quite a serious allegation, I would bet his lawyers are watching and reading very closely.

And when you take to posting the same thing every time a newspaper thread pops up it gets boring and looks like you have nothing interesting to say.

If people want to discuss articles then leave them to it.

also, as someone else pointed out Liz mentioned something about it in her article so there does seem to be some truth to this. Which is quite worrying tbh that the producers would have left her in there

Wonder if it was with that 'small knife' that Jim advised her to use? You know, the one that caused Linda to verbally attack Jim?....is that why she inexplicably laid into him for a bit of friendly advice?? ...or is it just another load of attention-seeking shyte from a classless nasty bitch making a couple of quid from a low-life rag!
