I know Chuff and I guess as he was a bit tipsy he can't remember all he said, but I just wish he would stand up for himself sometimes - not in an aggressive way but just get his point across in a civilised manner.

Not suprised at Helen not paying attention to the whole conversation and flying off the handle.. she's a hypocrite too, claiming that neither Chris or Ashleigh should have pretended to get along with her because they 'had to', yet claimed that she's only getting on with Asheligh because she's in the house...

Exactly. But any post that contradicts what some people want to hear is rarely answered or discussed sensibly.
Take, for example, the fact that Helen has been shown without doubt to be two - faced. I haven't seen one post that admits to that from those who go on and on about Ashleigh being two faced. It's okay for Helen to do it, but the worst thing in the world if Ashleigh does it.

If Helen's behaviour is accepted more than Ashleigh's these days its because she comes across as being more straightforward and natural. I'm not seeing much in Ashleigh that is not being driven by some hidden motive

I think everyone's view of a confrontation is different, my view of a confrontation is to go up and say "why did you say this about me.....i heard you say it" then quite possibly argue my point, Ashleigh has never done this, in the beginning she was saying how vile Helen was which was true! And that she was going to say it to her face, but it never happened, then when Helen did confront her Ashleighs reply was a bit a wet flannel! Your view of a confrontation maybe to have a little chat and someone else's view maybe that a confrontation is a Kat Slater moment.

We're all different .

Just so you know, i don't like confrontation so would go with the little chat

No, you are playing twisty twist again. Ashleigh said if Helen started in on her she wouldn't sit there and take it. The only time Helen did confront her was after seeing the vid with Kim and Jale, when she ran out all smug and delighted with her back - up and her cronies gathered around her as her audience. If you watched the vid of that you will know Ashleigh called her pathetic and told her to grow up etc. She answered back calmly and firmly, and showed herself to be strong and mature in the face of an open attack in front of everyone.
That kind of poise and maturity is why Ashleigh has so many admirers and the cowardly bully Helen hasn't.

Ashleigh at that moment from my perspective was honed in on by Helen, i've never said otherwise, my view is that i don't see this as a confrontation, it's more of just saying a few choice words, however she did have the back up of Winston which made her stronger and Ashleigh has never forgotten that he stuck up for her.

She answered back more scared than calmly and firmly and rightly so if Helen approached me like that i'd be scared!

Just realise she's an 18 year old girl not Joan of Arc!
