The news teams didn't even see it nor mention anything about casualties until 4 hours later.

Well it sounds like a lot more people could have been killed if the will was there from the army. I find it unlikely that Erdogan orchestrated this as well, it doesn't really strengthen his position and it involves too many people. I can't see ordinary soldiers risking their lives and happily accepting arrest just to be part of a political conspiracy, some of them have been killed in really gruesome ways.
