Ow that is so heart breaking for City

Just confirms my loathing for VAR, that's not right that you allow that goal with all the emotion that goes with it then chalk it off like nothing happened.. it's robbing the game of its magic

No way, VAR makes it fair. Liverpool's goal would have been offside when it wasn't, that's soul destroying, going through when it shouldn't have been a goal is soul destroying for the other team. What's the point in having rules at all if all it takes is a bad ref decision to over rule the rules?

Part of the beauty of sport that we place that responsibility in the hands of human beings whether that means you get screwed or you get saved. Nothing more soul destroying than a goal being given and 50000 people in a stadium going mad only for 6 blokes in a dark room staring at a screen overturning it, it's going to kill the game. Let the game flow and let the decisions stand whether they're right or not
