That was really unprofessional of GMTV this morning to interfere with his interview with the BBC.

'Johnson says the UK has agreed that there should be an all-island area in Ireland for agri-foods. This would mean*Northern Ireland*being bound by EU sanitary and phytosanitary rules. That is a big concession from the UK, he says.' This is a quote from that interview this morning I found significant, essentially what he is proposing is the borders be pushed off Ireland entirely. ..meaning not that there won't be a border. .. there will still have to be one, it will be here instead. Do I think that Johnson is doing this because he wants higher phytosanitary standards than the EU?.... No. https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_custom...equirements_en https://www.theguardian.com/politics...rter-live-news

Exactly arista , the way GMTV seem to think they are entitalled to his undivided attention , apparently he was walking towards them but his crew pointed him in a different direction ,plus who really would want to be interviewed by GMTV with that insufferable Susanna interrupting all the time and not letting people speak, he would be better doing an interview with Piers one on one.

What does the Conservative party stand for in 2019? If you survey the central tenets of Tory ideology from the past 50 years, it is hard to find a single one that is still intact. The party of business is hellbent on undermining access to an export market of half a billion people. The party of law and order is now raging against the judiciary – with senior Tories being regularly asked whether their government intends to obey the law. The party of “family values” – “back to basics”, as John Major put it – has now fallen for the charms of a famous philanderer, who is currently being dogged by questions about how his “close friend”, Jennifer Arcuri, was awarded £126,000 of grants during his time as London mayor. The party of the establishment is provoking a constitutional crisis, angering the Queen and expelling some of its most distinguished MPs from its benches. https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...hnson-cummings

You're right. Sorry. In a very competitive field Patel is the the biggest waste of space in this so-called government. Priti by name and ugly by nature. Her career started as a lobbist for the tobacco industry and it's gone downhill ever since Last edited by Twosugars; 01-10-2019 at 11:48 PM.

| Remembering Kerry | Quote:
She thought they were calling her pretty and asked me if I thought she was pretty. I waited a while to tell her she was called Priti not thst they were calling her pretty. However, no way should she be a Minister and certainly not a Minister in one of the high offices of State. She had to be removed for dubious and totally inappropriate actions when last a Minister. She deceived and lied directly to try to cover up her wrongs, to her then Prime Minister. She's a disgrace. Her only credentials are, she's an extreme heartless hardliner. Fits in well with Johnsons uncompromising, reckless and concerning bunch. Last edited by joeysteele; 02-10-2019 at 10:44 AM.

Despite extensive preparations at Dover, the port’s chief executive said it still expects to see a drop in trade worth £1bn a week should Britain leave the EU without a deal. Addressing a ConservativeHome/Port of Dover fringe event at the conference, the transport minister George Freeman confirmed the government was assuming that disruption would roughly halve the traffic on Britain’s main trading link The Guardian Last edited by Twosugars; 01-10-2019 at 04:15 PM.
