like i mentioned about that Martien Meiland in earlier post, he and his wife also live together for the children, they just sleep separately

Yes, it is a terrible shame for his wife to have to come to terms with it. But, it's also a terrible shame for him that he had to wait so long before he was comfortable enough to live openly with his sexuality.

None of us really have the right to disect his 'coming out' as we are not him. But we should at least respect it.

But it isn't about "straight rights " it's about the right to an honest relationship. It's nothing to do with her sexual preference.

Just heard about this. Feel really sorry for his wife and children. Imagine being married for 27 years and your partner decides to come out as gay, I’d be a bit devastated (not that I have an issue with people coming out as gay but I just think in this situation it could’ve been done sooner and been a lot more honest in the relationship).
