Having to wake up extra early to go in the office when I can just work from home. Managers just want to tick boxes.






At the same time I try not to moan too much because I am grateful that I have a job.

Waiters coming round to check how your food is. I know it's well intentioned but I swear they always time it so you have a gobfull of food in your mouth when they ask, you either have to risk answering with your mouth full or deal with them staring at you as you chew and swallow before replying

So annoying. I swear one day it'll happen and I'll spit my food onto the table cloth and scream "DON'T INTERRUPT ME WHEN I'M EATING!"

I was at a restaurant one time in a 5* Hotel and i swear the waiters there would always give a look first to make sure no one had just taken a bite before they came to ask.........but generally yes, it's so annoying

…that’s pretty great if they did that, it shows such thought and consideration…and obviously great observation, rather than…. oh 7.45pm, it’s time to do the rounds now…on that note, it’s not just having a mouth filled with food when a member of staff asks, it’s also when you’ve taken that mouthful of food without checking how hot it is…so your mouth is also burning like the fires of hell while you try to speak that everything’s fine and lovely, thank you…

Also typically they ask when your meal is at least half eaten... my usual answer is "trust me, if I had a problem with my meal I would not be waiting for you to ask!" but I do try to temper the abruptness with a half-smile....

Early mornings school-run time .. heavy traffic - everyone trying to avoid being late for work

These bladdy men don’t use their common sense and simply wait until there’s a few people wanting to cross …. No they stop the traffic everytime someone needs to cross meaning they are backing the traffic up !!!
