I have 30 minutes left to watch of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, doesn't the actress playing harmony really look like Emma Stone? I was thinking it was Emma Stone first but then realised it couldn't be because she was too young I was also thinking Robert Downey Jnr looked like Colin Farrell in it and then 2 minutes later they actually mention Colin Farrell in the film

....is she not the actress from that Jesus series, the Messiah...?..I can’t recall her name, is it her she was younger..?...

Such a great film, really difficult to watch at times though. I'd love to know how much of it is truth, I'd be willing to bet a lot of it is even though the official line is no case took place like that, I'm sure these kind of abuses were rampant in institutions like these back then. We've heard about a lot of them that were proven. Brilliant cast as well.

...it was harrowing obviously and with cases like that, that there is truth to, I always look the true cases up afterwards but obviously we still don’t know because it has some disputed elements an apparent ‘no records’...I felt very sad at the end because of the lives their environment gave them outside of the boys prison as well...the two that were killed when they were very young because their world was so mafia and very violent, they didn’t really get to live a life...I presume that was true as well that they were killed very violently when they were very young...I don’t know how I’ve never seen it before, it’s quite a must see movie but yeah, quite harrowing...Kevin Bacon is shockingly convincing at playing grim people ...

Yes I know it's based on a book written by Lorenzo Carcaterra but at the end of the movie they put up a message saying that the government (I think government or whoever) say no case like this ever took place in New York so it's just going 100% on this man's word if you know what I mean?

Whilst a great film, Sleepers is inconsistent. The first half when they're kids is amazing, but the second half when they're adults is a chore to watch. For years I always struggled to continue after

I did mange to finally finish it off last year or the year before. It was good but it just wasn't as good as when they were kids. Still a brilliant film though with amazing acting from everyone, especially Kevin Bacon.

Oh and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is an underrated gem. That film should be seen as RDJ's big comeback but it's annoying that is never is. He was hilarious, as was Val Kilmer as Gay Perry. The chemistry between them was nothing short of brilliant.

...I guess that the thing with the second half of the movie was more about the court case and how cleverly it was done because the prosecution was actually working to defend...when they were children in the detention centre it was obviously very gripping but harrowing also...it’s an excellent move, for me it’s just not knowing what is true and what isn’t ...all of the abuse I personally think was true and was all covered up...

I can play back on some channels but not all of them, I'd have to check when i get home.
