I thought it was good but not sure it warrants 'amazing' just yet. Preffered both S1&2 openers. Seemed a bit camp and stereotypical in comparison and Emma Roberts played Emma Roberts as per.
Still thoroughly enjoyed it though.

I thought it was a brilliant first episode. It had a lot of female dominance, which I loved.

Emma Roberts was a bit of a crap choice for Madison though, it sucks that she got the part just because she's with Evan. I was wonder if Emma Roberts would've accepted the offer? She fit the bitch role perfectly in The Bling Ring, and she worked really well with Taissa.

Sarah and Jessica stole the show for me.

Emma playing Madison just didn't seem believable to me. I loved the character but they could've chosen someone MUCH better. It was like Scream 4 all over again.

I love Taissa though. I'm feeling the Zoe & Kyle relationship.

Hopefully Angela Bassett's character slays in future episodes.

It was really good. I loved all of the characters (Queenie), even though some of them were too big for their actors. Emma and, surprisingly, Frances didn't really seem to fit into their characters IMO. idk if I'm explaining it very well, but I just didn't believe them.

An overall amazing premiere though. A lot was packed into it, so hopefully the rest of the season will keep up.

Watched it last night So good!!! That story about that lady who tortured her slaves was based on some sort of truth too wasn't it? I'm sure I read about it somewhere before, really gruesome. But yeah, definitely the best opening episode of the three, if it carries on this way it'll out do the other two

..yeah, I agree with this, I thought it was a great opening episode and set out the characters very well...Cathy Bates as Madame Delphine LaLaurie is just perfect..she plays 'evil' so well...and Jessica Lange..(...is her character Fiona..?..)..was totally flawless as always....I didn't realise that Cathy's character was based on a true story though...

Yeah it is, don't ask me why i was reading about it, I think it was because I was wondering if there were many women serial killers and I was doing some googling and remember reading about her. You can read about it here :
