Fingers crossed it'll be in S01 and S02s leagues, I was really disappointed with S03. I'm giving it one more chance but if it's ****e it'll be my last time watching it

i enjoyed every season so far, although i still don't understand the scene with the minotaur raping the fat black chick...

but c'mon, season 3 was pretty awesome. kathy bates being a racist slave owner, then just a disembodied head being forced to watch Roots and the Obama inauguration...that was cool and hilarious.

For me 2 was the best then 1, 3 started out really promising but it lost it's way very quickly, there was too much going on that didn't have a lot of significance to the story I thought.....like the Minotaur raping the fat black chick

They tried to make it too funny I thought, I like a bit of humour in it but I prefer when it's mainly sinister like 1 and 2 were

S3 didn't really have much of a plot aside from the next supreme, and that was a really weak theme imo, i didn't care who it was, they resolved the battle between witches and voodoo far too quickly, it should have lasted the whole season, probably should have been the main plot too

Yeah, I think they concentrated too much in making "comedy scenes" rather than developing a good plot

i know what you mean, but from her perspective it was horror. you seeing from your perspective, but from her perspective seeing the world change so much, and being confronted with a new world where black people's suffering is validated was a horror to her.

sometimes history is so horrific, we are desensitized to it because we are so used to it, but to her character it was a true horror to see a black man as president.

The problem with 3 is that it felt like they were winging it the whole way through, there was no plan to the story and the sideplots got dropped or retconned for no reason. It's like they wrote each script an hour before it had to be filmed.

yea i agree with this. like the frankenstein evan being molested by his mom, that story went no where, it seemed to just be added for shock value.

but the show needs a few shocks in-between the main plot twists.

I disagree with most people, i think season 3 was good.

It had potential and it was a fun series to watch but quality wise it ended up being terrible.

My theory is that the Name Game scene in Asylum went down so well they tried to make the whole season full of those and it became too cheesy and gimmicky with no substance

ive not even watched the show but this next season looks amazing

i want to start watching, so i have a few questions!

does each season have a different storyline? Which season is the best? Will I have nightmares?

i dont really like scary things but if my sisters can watch this, I guess I can too!

Yeah, all seasons have different storys/settings, they just use the same cast

I think the general consensus is 2 > 1 > 3, but 4 looks like it's gonna be really good too

2 is the scariest probably so you might want to start, with 3 and work your way up
