I think it's the fact that some people are talking like what she said was so bad that BB shouldn't have cast her in the first place is what's weird to me.

Yeah, I'm not surprised by all this really because her character is very aggressive and she doesn't let other people have their own views, she always believes she's right etc. But I didn't really expect her to tweet half of this stuff even if she thought it because she comes across as quite intelligent and surely you know not to put all that stuff over social media? And although it was 10 years ago for a bunch of these and she was 23 ish, you'd think even at that age you'd be a little more... socially aware? Says it all though that she went through deleting everything instead of owning it and apologising. Because that's exactly her character she showed us in the house too, she'll never take responsibility for anything and never believes she's in the wrong. It all makes so much sense tbh

I think overtime we'll get to the point we don't outright chuck someone out for something they said in history. Our jails are already full We'll have to stop at some point because too many people have things they've rather not have out there publicly accessible and there will be some major event in the future I'm sure some of us will have to eat humble pie. When enough people are impacted, maybe then they'll stop treating computers like a fun toy and realize that it's a tool like anything else. Regarding archiving, the point is to have a complete and authentic record to refer to, not necessarily for widespread distribution. I don't even think through the website it's very easy to pull up that information. I think one must have the original link to find it. So the archive is only meant for those who go to click a link and find the information is no longer there. (That's why archives exist) A screenshot is actually easier to spread around than a link if anyone wanted to do reputation damage... that's how to best do it. It's 1-2 click upload (just about) and then essentially it's everywhere after that. Whereas an archive, people must click a link and as we typically see, people aren't always keen to check an actual source.

I understand you're defensive, but don't get me mixed with her "haters" before all this came out. Look at any post from me about Trish in the past couple weeks, they're all positive.

At the end of day, I/we invested in her. We were rooting for her. She seemed like a really nice, level headed person. But all this coming really makes me question her character.

If Olivia had tweeted the same stuff i would have been like "yep, knew it, always said she was a sh!t person" but with Trish it hits a lot harder as i really liked her. But like some have said in this thread, it's indefensible!

I really hope this revenge porn isn't true either. It just gets worse!

And one more thing, i don't like Chanelle, but just because she was somewhat bitchy and annoying in the house, people were baying for blood. But her actions are nothing in comparison to this, yet people still want to defend Trish when she's anti Asian people, Anti Jews, and potentially put revenge porn on the internet.
