I totally understand your frustration and utter disappointment with this Season Macie!!!
It gets more like a scripted drama show than anything resembling 'reality' every year now!
The manipulation and favoring of certain houseguests is ridiculous and the fact that they think the viewers won't realize it's happening is even worse (and the fact that some either really don't realize it's happening or refuse to accept that CBS would do such a thing is just hysterical!!!!).

CBS really should have done everything in their power to ensure they gave us a fantastic Season with all interesting and entertaining housemates (like the ones sat in the Jury house right now!........apart from Christine!) in the way of an apology and to somewhat make up for how badly they handled everything about last year's show but no...........instead they give us an even worse Season as far as it being entertaining goes!!!

You only have to look at how little time most of us are spending discussing the season here this year because there has been so little happening for us to discuss!

It's definitely not reality anymore. The biggest problem with BBUS currently (idk about biggest, but one of the huge problems) is that production goes into the season with predetermined storylines and doesn't give up. I get it in the beginning, because the first few episodes of BBUK are always really inconsistent in terms of plot to the rest of the series because the producers are still trying to get their footing and figure out what storylines are and aren't important (remember when Adam's proposal to Shievonne was left out of the highlights and then it ended up being a huge issue weeks later? stuff like that.) However, with BBUS once they decide on their storylines early on they don't let them go. Hayden/Nicole was not nearly as big of a thing early on in the season despite them getting cute segments every episode, Frankie's been getting a golden edit for almost the whole series even though he's so awful that his ****tiness transcends his golden edit, etc. Similarly on BBAUS, there's now controversy with how someone's sexuality is being portrayed and how accepting his family is. Grodner has a preplanned story she wants to show and doesn't deviate from it unless she absolutely has to. I have no doubt at all that if it wasn't for Twitter and other forms of social media, the BB15 racism scandal would've been swept under the rug much like how a lot of Dick's awfulness wasn't shown in BB8. The only difference was that half a decade later social media was a lot more prominent and there was so much outrage on Twitter about the racism of Aaryn and the others that it had to be addressed.

Until Grodner leaves and BBUS gets an overhaul, the show is dead. The real BBUS happens up north in late winter/early spring.

A better twist would have been to have voided the nominees. Then instead Cody and Victoria could have had a random draw (there and then) with one becoming the HOH for the week and the other holding the power of veto.

That would have flipped the game on its back instead of this rewind crap.

I understand why you all complain about the show. You all want it to be like UK Big Brother rules.

You all seem to hate everyone besides Victoria who has been the most usless character on the show as far as gameplay goes, but would probably go ok if it was UK rules.

No we don't. If we wanted a BBUK format we would just watch BBUK, and this is a BBUK forum so everyone (except for JerseyWins) does.

We hate everyone else because they're boring and/or disgusting people. How good/bad someone is at the game doesn't have any say on how good or bad their character is. If you want to watch people be good at the game or whatever, just watch a chess match or read the BB16 Wikipedia for updates. And the gameplay this year has been ****ing boring anyway so that's just one more reason to not like Frankie/Derrick/Caleb/Cody (and there are plenty of others.)

I still am perplexed by this notion of "gameplay matters!!!!11" when this is the rigfest known as Big Brother US.

Watching people be good (or bad) at the game is what BBUS is about. In that post itself you're basically saying you want it to be BBUK by not caring at all about the gameplay involved in US's different format.

No one likes Janelle because She Played A Good Game (alol she didn't.) Same with Rachel. Similarly, nobody looks past all the character flaws of people like Maggie and Andy simply because They Played Good Games.

I don't watch BBUS For The Game. I watch it to be entertained, and once upon a time I actually was entertained. The game can serve as a platform for entertainment to be played out through and by all means should provide some conflict or tension or something. But then BB12 happened and now it's all about all-male alliances and not trying to get blood on your hands and not trying to rock the boat and voting with the house and all of those ****ing awful phrases that have led to nearly every vote being unanimous and there being zero power shifts or change ups. Like, sure people can talk all the want about how Derrick is playing a good game but it's also resulting in a ****ing atrocious season so it's not worth it at all.
