They were obviously setting up for the double when they said
"This is such an iconic lip sync song" they knew both were going home before the lip sync began

Tbf though it was the right bottom 2 they both did meh and had bad runway looks but the lip sync wasn't bad (Laila did slightly better though)

And about the returning queen I think it'll be a huge let down like Buanca or Katya come back just to do a challenge

I just feel so sorry for Dax and Laila. It was sad enough when Naysha got upset for being the first to be sent home, but she lost the lip-sync fair and square. It's just so ruthless to send two girls home purely to make the show more dramatic, and have that shown to millions of people around the world. I admire them both for carrying on with drag.

Why are they making it so short when it's only becoming bigger
Like yea there's AS2 this year but season 4 wasn't any shorter when AS1 came out

AS2 is a proper season though I think? They were both filmed one after the other so it kinda makes sense that S8 is shorter

Just watching it now. They were all pretty even in the performance although I can't actually recall seeing Derrick, Dax, Cynthia or Kim standing out. Based on the runway I'd have gone for a Derrick vs. Kim/Dax but the former two are kinda obviously getting an easy ride for their personalities.

Robbie turned it out in both though her and Chi Chi were MVPs this week.

I'm quickly going to go off Kim though if they force her innocence and shyness and cuteness down my throat much more obviously. She's nice but this edit is heavier than Phi Phi's makeup.

Totally agree with all this. I never disliked Robbie to begin with tbh. I found him quite funny, actually.

The reason. Why I'm not too fond of Kim is because her edit is overbearing, which is a shame because she's talented at what she does.

The Pearl/Miss Fame was worse than that lip sync tbh, it was unfair they both went imo

About time they used 'I Will Survive' for the lip-sync, iconic anthem.

I called the double elimination though, both queens were very uninspiring. 'I Will Survive' should be Drag 101.

@ that ending though!

It's annoying that Pearl and Fame were able to get by week by week just because of their reputations beyond the show.

I really thought I would have a crush on Laila this season but Thorgy got me. Every time I see her out of drag I am like.... Yes, please! Kim Chi, too. I've always had a thing for Asians though so I knew I would like Kim lol.
