It's no surprise the ratings are down this summer due to many factors such as the shoddy production, less viewership, and probably because people have lost interest in the show.
I wonder if CBB17 in January will rate as highly as CBB13/15, given that recently all BB series have been dropping in ratings. |

Yeah CBB17 will be interesting, but then BB15 had average/not that good ratings and CBB15 still managed to get 3.1M official.
I think Winter CBB will always be good/rate decently. Summer CBB rates good for CH5 terms, if it can continue to get 1.6-1.9 overnight except Saturday then it's fine I think. I kind of feel annoyed for this series. This series has been good so far and they've given us way more live feed than normal and are updating their social media accounts more. I personally think 1.6-1.9m is awful for a summer CBB as it's practically averaging the same as a BB series was 2/3 years ago, when the reason we have summer CBB is because it brings in extra viewers. If it's going to bring in 1.6-1.9m, they might as well axe summer CBB as it's not worth it and just have the civilian version in the summer which would bring similar ratings to it if they bothered putting more effort into it. |

yeah CBB Summer is a little pointless, this series is a lot better so far. BB15 ratings were decent tbh, it wasn't even that bad of a series looking bad. Just a few flaws. Last edited by Will.; 30-08-2015 at 04:03 PM. |

CBB15 would've got 3.2m had the final week not declined in ratings. |

A new game show on BBC2 that will probably flop. Marigold film on CH4 and drama on BBC One. But tbh it should do decent as this is the first show were we won't see some of what we've already seen. Friday and Sat we saw repeats of what we already saw. Last edited by Will.; 30-08-2015 at 03:21 PM. |

yeah I thought so, not sure then.
Quick note that the share for last night was higher than 1.2 Saturday last year, and the CBB14 rating is with +1 share. So like the XF is getting lower ratings but same/higher share. Last edited by Will.; 30-08-2015 at 03:34 PM. |

I wonder what will happen with Bobby tonight? He's supposed to be in control of the House but he hasn't done anything according to the twitter updates. Not even a mention.
If there was a twist then the ratings would be up but they haven't mentioned anything. Last edited by Ashley.; 30-08-2015 at 04:17 PM. |

If there's an eviction on Tuesday he/everyone will have to nominate tonight so I guess we will know what's happening by tomorrow.

(if they're going to carry on with BB at all after this, they should have learnt by now that summer CBB is a really bad idea) |

X factor is doing abysmally so far - Simon Cowell will be having a fit.
But as for CBB - without +1 it got 1.03m which is lower than the majority of Timebomb was getting. It needs to start climbing from here otherwise we're going to be getting another 4in4out twist

Absolutely shocking!
Its literally getting Timebomb ratings......,That may be a good thing for the civilian series though if it can match a celebrity series. Everything seems down though X Factor is doing awful its getting the same ratings as Emmerdale! But seriously Sunday is allways the highest rated highlights show so I am shocked at how low it rated. Makes BB15 look like a blockbuster. Last edited by daniel-lewis-1985; 31-08-2015 at 01:34 PM. |

Casualty beat X factor last night - the only thing that saved it was the fact that ITV can add on HD and +1 figures. 4.98m for X factor without them last night - pretty god damn awful. As for CBB - once again we find ourselves in a position where we have a good series, a great mix of housemates that is probably going to end up ruined because the producers will chase ratings.

I'm annoyed this series is getting bad ratings as it has been really good for a summer CBB, IMO. And way better than the first week of CBB14.
But at the same time, I'm also happy as I think this will give producers a slap in the face as to why they feel the need to have two CBB series a year when the summer one is pointless. So with these low ratings, maybe they'll scrap it in the future and stick to the traditional one CBB in January and BB in June
