I'm replying to a posts from a few pages back...

Cherie the thread took a turn away from being fun when you started having a sly pop about LT being constantly banned or something along those lines.

If someone is constantly getting infracted or banned and by all staff at different times not just 1 mod then there's only so many times thier friends can blame us before realising it isn't us that's the problem and I like and get in with LT but let's not pretend he's an angel on the forum.

How could you possibly know people's reporting habits? We get a variety of reports from different people and we can tell the difference between genuine reports and someone reaching to get another person in trouble. If a person is reported but we don't believe they've done anything wrong then we won't do anything. Plus you aren't taking into account that not all moderation is prompted by reports, if we see rule breaks we'll respond whether it's reported or not.

People don't get banned because they get reported a lot, people get banned because they frequently break the rules.

People don't get banned because they get reported a lot, people get banned because they frequently break the rules.

None of that counts for anything as long as there is one rule for some an another for others. Can't see that changing anytime soon.

How do you know this? Please enlighten us all on how you seemingly have in depth knowledge of everyone's infraction history to make this statement. I'm very interested to know.

Nobody is ever unfairly infracted or banned, sometimes they are by means of mistake but those infractions are always reversed. The whole 'One rule for some' argument is a hypocritical complaint by people who want special treatment because they aren't happy with being treated like everyone else.

Niamh I didn't say it was the only way members got infracted, you added that in youself, I said it was an area where there could be inconsistency

I know they haven't cherie the point I was making was that people don't get bans for nothing if they are building infractions and the bans are happening more and more then they are repeat rule breakers...

I dunno, this seems pretty standard for every forum I've ever been a member of . Though the first one had about 600 active members and only one mod. That was pretty hilarious.

Look, some were saying yesterday 'oh it won't be long til this thread is closed' etc.. well constructive criticism is perfectly fine and also welcomed but your posts have been getting progressively ruder and more insulting each time, I won't warn you about this again, post your opinion without baiting for a reaction or you will end up infracted.

I've mentioned in another thread in the past that I won't have a group of members attacking dezzy at every opportunity they get and here we have the same members doing the exact same thing again, we don't allow this to happen to other members and the same goes for staff.

IF anyone has a genuine problem with a mod they can pm another mod or myself and James.

I was asking why you could call me sly Josy, when I would be infracted if I called another member sly. I don't believe I have been sly in the least, I have always been open and honest on the forum, I have the utmost respect for most of the Admin and moderation team, most are respectful and treat members well and in return they are respected by the members. In response to your post about PMing you and James if there are any issues, I've done it before, James didn't even respond, though in fairness you always reply, nothing changes though so it's a bit pointless.
