Why not choose the Miley Cyrus song for Stacey?
She`ll probley win anyway, and younger audiences know that song it`ll have a better chance of being Number 1 longer than that other stupid song.

Journey's Don't Stop Believin' is played in a lot of clubs at the end of a night, used in loads of TV programs (notably the Sopranos season finale off the top of my head) and is always hovering in the iTunes charts.

However, the Miley Cyrus song would be a better choice for the younger audience.

I just think Joe winning would be terrible

Couldn't see him in the charts at all

I'd even (shock horror) want stacey to win over him

What's wrong with everyone?! Joe would be an appalling winner, the worst one since Leon Jackson. I'm shocked at everyone's favouritism towards such a dire, average singer.

Also very disappointed at this year's Winning Song choices. I hope Stacey does win, but The Climb is a bit of a cheesy choice don't you think?

Hope it's not Don't Stop Believin', wouldn't suit a winners song at all. I can definitely see it being The Climb though.

Wish they'd write an original song again like they did for Shayne though.

I don't think Joe should win, he's got a great voice but can't see him selling albums, he's a stage singer not a recording artist imo.

I don't think Stacey is good enough to win either though, her vocals aren't actually that strong, she sounds like she's straining for the high notes and I'm just meh about her.

Olly is the only one I could see maybe doing ok, I love Danyl but people just don't seem to be able to relate to him for some reason.

I love DSB but I'd much rather hear something original!

I saw on MTV news about an hour ago that Don't Stop Believin' has pretty much been confirmed as the winner's song.

You also have to bear in mind that they chose Hallelujah for last year; Diana sung it in the audition stages and people raved over it, so it was clearly chosen with her in mind. Joe might not win.

Joe has already sung this hasn't he? It would fit the well - held theory that Cowell wants a boy to win this year........last year it was more tailored towards a girl winner because of Alex/Diana, plus the terrible male entrants.

They should to The Climb, its more winnerish. It won't be the same when they perform the winners song in the final sing off and you're not reaching for a razor to slit your wrists

i love her version, but really, Tom, no.

I just wish they'd do a Shayne/Girls Aloud and write a new song - Sound of the Underground is probably the decade's only great Xmas No.1.

What about the Bob the Builder or Leon Jackson classics?

I like the Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman one although not the kind I'd listen to, love SOTU though and even Mad World (they should cover that ). Darkness should have got it that year though, just for the fact i was about 14 years old and the song featured 'bells end'

I reckon they should have to cover a Christmas song. Then more may be accepting of the xmas number one.
