Former Big Brother star Chanelle Hayes is reportedly expecting her first child with footballer Matthew Bates.

The 22-year-old has told friends that she is "delighted" after attending her 12-week scan, according to The Sun.

Hayes, who appeared in the 2007 series of the reality show, was rushed to hospital last August following a reported overdose of painkillers and red wine. She was later spotted outside The Priory.

She later told a newspaper that she was getting her life back on track.

A friend of the model said: "The dark days are behind now and Chanelle is absolutely thrilled. Matthew's over the moon too."

Chanelle's mother, Andrea Sinclair, a 32-year-old addict and street prostitute, was murdered by client Keith Pollard, on 5 April 1988, when Chanelle, born in Styal Prison, was not quite five months old.
Chanelle was then put up for adoption and was raised in Wakefield, West Yorkshire by Christine and Harry Hayes. At age 15, Chanelle sought information about her birth family from social workers, and she was reunited with her grandmother and her sisters in Sheffield.

Thats no excuse for how she is though, and as already said it was only her first few months that were dodgy, which she won't remember in any way.
