Why did I make this thread?

Well you know, Im not that obsessed with Lacey but tonight she proved shes an amazing actress plus another member gave me the idea for this.



Stacey arrived on the square back in November 1st 2004, since then shes been through it all.
Abortion, drug abuse, bipolar disorder, had an affair with Max, and most recently seen her husband Bradley fall to his death.

Stacey has proven popular with fans and critics, and Lacey Turner has won multiple awards for her portrayal.

Lacey had originally went to audition for Demi Miller's Role but was instead given the role of Stacey Slater.
Turner said "I was speechless when I found out that I had been cast as Stacey Slater especially as I knew I would be working with Jessie Wallace who is my favourite actress. I've watched the show since I was about four years old, and I used to live in a house that backed onto the EastEnders set so I used to watch them filming all the time. I always dreamt of being on the show and so I can't believe that I've fulfilled my greatest ambition!"


Lacey Turner has took Stacey from a gobby Teenager.. to a even gobbier Adult.

I think Lacey is beautiful, and she plays Stacey very well - down to a T! Shes had some great storylines and her character is just amazing, being very fun and lovable. Shes grown loads as an actress and is easily one of my favourite characters off of not only Eastenders but all soaps, if not my favourite!

Her relationship with Bradley Branning is also one of my soap favourites (loved Bradley as a character too so will miss him now hes died out of it), namely 'Bracey'! And although technically shes Stacey Branning, shell always be Stacey Slater tbh.

Just to add, Im so glad shes Archie's killer, I had a feeling it would be her and think it was a great way to end such a good storyline, and has added a lot to her already brilliant character profile.

Yeah I love Lacey Turner!

Agree completely, And it isnt the end of the storyline I seen an interview the Dierick on Monday and he said the killer opens up another part of the story instead of closing it

And it says on Wiki Bradleys last apperance isnt until the 22nd of Febuary, so this may mean Stacey goes to see his body.
Will be so sad.

Aw it will be sad, nothing happy ever lasts long for poor old Stacey! And ohh, should be interesing, she might get close to Ronnie since they share similar experiences (lost of a loved one.. twice - Ronnie gives up Danielle for adoption + she then dies when they finally know, Stacey cheats on Bradley with Max/Bradley moves on with Sid + he then dies when they are finally get back together and married. Also being raped by Archie).

Btw I never knew she auditioned for Demi's role, so glad they gave her Stacey's instead!

Yeah, you know I just realised if the baby was Archies then she would of been carrying Ronnie & Roxies Sister!

Ikr, If she got Demi's Role it would of ment she would of been in the show for a year and left.
