Don't know the full details of what happened, as I wasn't around...but as usual, rumours go round and things get blown out of proportion.
Basically, earlier today, two boys in my year (that I know) were messing about in a Tech lesson throwing things at each other (at least that's how I understand it), and things got out of hand and the boy I know better than the other picked up a metal file (I think) and threw it at the other boy. It pierced his stomach and (apparently) he pulled it out and blood went everywhere. They called the police, the boy who threw it was arrested and obviously the injured guy was taken to hospital.
This is an article from the local radio station, and I have blocked out the name of the school for obvious reasons.
Anyway, people in my school seem to blowing this out of proportion, if that article is true. And there's loads of posts on Facebook saying 'sick! he should be behind bars!!!11'. I mean, seriously...WTF? Overreaction much? As far as I'm concerned, you just
don't throw things around in a Tech classroom at all. Stupid kids.
What do you think? I just wanted some opinions
