Default Less interaction with the outside world

I'm getting sick of the increased levels of interaction the HM's have had with the outside world over the years. The whole point of the original show was NONE. Now we even have HM's leaving the bloody building FGS. Plus if someone walks out they stay out if you ask me. They get away with far too much. I guess it's not going to change. BB will be a right chickensh!t trying to keep them all in for the final show.....

The whole premise of the show has changed since the first show! It was originally an experiment to see how a bunch of strangers would get on together in that confined situation! Now it is just a bitch fest and attention seeking drama! Full of nasty, superficial people!

I still enjoy it (mostly) but hate how it's totally changed from the original idea. We're supposed to be watching 12 strangers in an alien environment with everyday simple pleasures taken away and left to the bare bones to get on with it. Now everything is given in to from food to freedom. Even letting them back in when they escape

As the producers are going to want the show to go out with a bang this year - I dread to think what this year's bunch are going to be like! The absolute pits! Having said that - is does make for compelling viewing - as it is humerous to see how desperate some people are and to see what depths they will sink to!

I'm dreading this years being a farce and them trying too hard. The HM's and the producers

Ugh actually, Davinas going to be unbearable too.....

to be honest, when the show is only 7-9 weeks long, you can confine them without any interaction from the outside world. The US show is only 9 weeks long. but the shows are FOURTEEN FLIPPIN WEEKS LONG. do you know how crazy long that is to not see anyone but the people inside and not hear from anyone? any normal person would start losing their minds. Even people in prison get to have visitors. For the first 8 weeks, I say, no interaction with anyone outside - but all the cute perks theyve been doingn the past few years towards the end like messages from home, BB magazine, day trip outside, old housemates coming back in for a visit, are a boost that can help these cabin-feverish housemtes survive til the end. BBs1 and 2 were much shorter and the housemates didnt start losing their minds yet. Since BB is 13/14 weeks long, I think it's necessary to add a few treats towards the end to keep them from going insane.

I hate it when they bring in housemates' relations or partners as new housemates, it totally ruins it for me.
It no longer becomes about the "strangers" that don't know each other
The whole Kenny thing with Karly, and the whole Isaac thing with Noirin just bugged the hell out of me
Stick with the strangers!

A REALY back to basics BB would be good.
One or two BIG twisits, what don't involve ex-housemates or loads of new HM's.

IMO no matter how many people go on about how Lisa and Davids stupid journey around London was 'the best part of BB10' Its still not.

It was boring.

And it defeated the entire purpose of what the show was about.

I have to disagree with what you said though about them having more and more contact with the outside world as each series goes on.

I dont think BB1-9 Had any contact with the outside world unless of course your talking about the new housemates.

BB10 did there annoying 'Aliens in London' stunt for ratings and IMO it was horrible and It didnt even feel like the same show.

I bet every BB11 Housemate watched BB10 And seen how much they got away with in that house.

Not Nominating, Breaking out into the camera runs, discussing nominations etc

And they will do the same.
Big Brother needs to show them that hes still incharge.

The only interaction should be on evictions when they can hear the crowd, really hope they keep it

This.

Samanda was horrible and tbh they could of had a good twist there if they spilt them two up.

Mario and Lisa was uncalled for.. but then again at least they didnt count as one HM unlike Samanda.

Rex and Nicole was intresting for a night then it ruined Rex's chances of winning and that.

Isaac and Noirin failed epicly and was just silly, he didnt stay in the house for more than a week unfortunatly, All we got was Siavash saying 'FFS' and that was that.

Karly and Kenneth had to be one of the most pointless 'twist' ever.

They better cut the 'Relationship Before BB' **** out for the last time.

Isaac ruined the series for me. I'd have loved to see Noirin and Siavash get more involved. Noirin wouldnt have gotten evicted that week. She totally isolated herslef from the group once Isaac came in. and Isaac wasnt interested in anyone but Noirin. I cant believe waht an idiotic move that was from big Brother. and I wish TOm wouldnt have walked; a love triangle woudlve been great!

I don't mind them hearing the crowd to a degree. Get those paranoia bubbles flowing Nor do I mind letters from home so long as it's way into the series and thats all it is ONE LETTER. No videos. Just a simple note. That adds to the whole mood (good and bad and also interesting) but multiple new HM's, trips outside, relationships, games involving family/friends or staff, past HM's etc etc..... NO!!!!!!! How on earth is the 'outside world' not part of the house? All it is is a holiday camp now. They get food and parties on tap and are rarely deprived (CBB is a joke in that respect). Sod it, let them take books in and three suitcases each. Never ending goodies and a fecking telephone and have done......

It was brilliant.

Isaac was a legend, I wish he stayed in.

But I remember on here us Marcus fans are over the moon when Isaac went in because the Noirin Vs Marcus eviction was a very very close thing, I mean no one could predict who would go and the odds were changing every day but Isaac coming in completely sealed Noirins fate and if she stayed Marcus would of went and that would of been horrible.

Watching the idiot brushing his hair about 10,000 times didn't do it for me! Shame he didn't go earlier than he did!

This.

No contact.

One letter to each of the housemates when there is only like 2 weeks or something until the final.

Kapeesh!

Yes it just went against what the show is supposed to be about, lets hope BB have taken all the criticism on board and make this show one to remember if it's going to go out on a high.

RE Evictions.. Kat was my favourite she said '' Big Brudda please don't take any of my fwends'', so smug she was going to make it to the final with her cronies as planned but of course people saw through her in the end and she went, loved the booing from the crowd was well deserved.

Yeah and all apart from Mikey and Sara were crying like she had died.. Kat and her cronies expected Sara to go but it didn't happen so made it the more sweeter.
