Charley was unpleasant but that was not really to do with any type of black culture, just a council estate bully. Science was a black supremacist and also quite irritiating in his own way. So i think skin colour does come into it at times with people of afro caribbean decent, but i don't think the public is racist as a whole. just my opinion. Shabby has her moods but she also communicates quite clearly and intelligently, maybe if she was a black who was using that aggressive and barely understandable language some of them use then yeah maybe that would have factored. Is it still racist if you hate a sub section of black culture? and does it matter? I just see what i see, no amount of political correctness or bleeding heart liberalism will change my opinion of what I think...memba i told you.
As great a housemate as Victor was, his game was up on the week he got evicted. He tried to humiliate Shell in the wedding task (which he had actually planned for a day beforehand) and his apology came across as very half-arsed and insincere.

Up until then things were actually looking quite good for him. Although I was more of a Lipgloss Bitches supporter, up until the wedding task, he never picked a battle with someone who couldn't give as good as good as they got. His association with Jason never did him any favours either.

she let of steam , mostly by her self, she wasn't attacking anyone, she also had nicotene withdrawl , and if it was her grandfathers hat i have sympathy for that, also maybe venting frustrations of unrequited love from that cornahomie girl, plus the hat really was her only look. I try not to be narrow minded, i beleive that hate is like swallowing pioson and expecting the other person to die...so for selfish reasons i try my best not to let the prejudice grow.

I like that analogy. Very true.

As a smoker, I can safely say that nicotine withdrawal doesn't make you act like that. Maybe cold turkey from a heroin addiction, but that's not my area of expertise.

I work with addiction and ciggarettes are one of the worst, withdrawing from heroine cold turkey is terrible but depending on how much you smoke ciggarettes can be one of the hardest of all the drugs (i'm not lecturing , i smoke too )

Don't get me wrong, withdrawal can be stressful, especially if you have your cigarettes suddenly taken away from you or you unexpectedly find out you have nothing to smoke, but nothing about Shabby's freak out was believable to me, as much fun as it was to watch.

Of course people will try and make points against the truth. Anyway, the voting public has every right to save the English man as it is Their Country. Thread closed... if the Mods want them to be

Shabby would be out right now if she was black. Even i am "angry white man", i am not racist at all. Bluerang1 is right with this one.

I think what the OP is trying to say is that if it was a young black girl in there throwing her weight about & being moody for the majority, it wouldn't be taken kindly by BB or the public. Wereas Shabby fans think of her moodiness and loveable or entertaining - it's not threatening. BB does not help matters though, I think they like to stick to sterotypes when it comes to black HMs (and other 'groups') *most* of the time. I can't ever remember a black female in BB who wasn't bitchy, aggressive or slutty and a lot of effort must go into their choices.

It's a valid point, but nothing to be taken too seriously.

You sound like my dad, he claimed England was racist because there was never a black winner on X Factor, then it was between Alex & JLS, there was my point proven.

Also Big Brother's the same, Brian Belo won

I'm talking about black females in particular. And I said most of the time, not all the time.

One black winner in 11 series is appalling but then again we've only had three female winners. Its telling us something but I'm not sure what.

I don't think the voting public is racist at all.
Personally I think they don't usually have likable black people in Big Brother, for whatever reason, also if you think of the amount of black people compared with the amount of white people then you're going to get more white winners, but it means to me that Big Brother doesn't represent black people well in any way, the only two likeable black people I can think of are Brain Bello and Alison Hammond.

However i remember Shabby being fave to be evicted that week, but Im glad she stayed in now as we wouldnt have had that massive tantrum

Govan was evicted because he deserved it. He was black yes... but it doesnt mean anything at all, he was bitchy and a backstabber.

You could say anything about anyone...

If Steve was evicted its discrimination
If keeva was evicted its going to be racist to Irish people
If Ife is going to be evicted its because she's black
If Ben was evicted its because he's posh

Anybody would make an excuse for anything in there.

Its the same last year:
Evicted housemates, Benizer, Sophia, Cairon, Angel and Sree (first 5 evicted were either black or from a different country) doesnt mean the country is racist at all, just means that most of them were up against Freddie and we all know he was very popular.

Kris was the first person that was British and white to be evicted.
I liked Sree!....Wonder how he's going on?

It's not telling you anything at all...

People pick their favourite, be they black, white, male, female, gay, straight...

It really doesn't make a difference...

Hell we even had a Portuguese transexual win...

Quite why people have to over analyse things I don't know

Of course it tells us something. It tells a great deal about the people who vote and what they look for in a HM. Its the same with X-factor. Young guys always go much further than they deserve to.
