Only for a lot of his fans Vicky, remember a lot of teenage girls watch BB, I understand why people might like him because he is argumentative.

Same reason for John Joe too with the teenage girls, but hes actually quite a decent lad.

Beast I understand that you don't like him, I even understand why you don't like him but I can't understand why you don't have a bit of respect for other peoples opinions. We obviously see other things in him then you do. They all have a bad qualities in there because they're all human.

Marcus never lead someone on, you're right but he was a disgusting pervy letch which I personally find more off putting to watch, but that's just my opinion on it.

Sorry but i don't agree with you when you say he says it how it is, how do you figure that 1 out when he has done his fair bit of bitching behind people's backs, and there's a difference between saying it as it is and arguing, and to me it looks like arguing.

Also, if you haven't noticed recently he has toned his bitching a little apart from on LF sometimes, ever since he was put up for nomination, and it was that 1 week when all of a sudden he cut down on it, probably to be saved, gameplayer.

And no the reason is not valid. Its just another way for the people who dont like him to try and make idiots out of the people who do.

There are many reasons to like any of the housemates. I see good and bad in each and every one of them. But I generally prefer the most entertaining one. Last year my favorite was marcus, the year before that, rex. Going to tell me i only liked them for their looks? I think not.

If anything, his looks go against him. Because people assume that because he is good looking, that is the only reason people like him...and thus hate him more. Which is pathetic.

Also, if people only like him because he is 'hot' then is it safe to assume that the people who dont like him are jealous because he is 'hot'? Works both ways.

Completely disagree there, the only time looks go against them is if it is a good looking girl.

Vicky, your last paragraph makes an interesting point. I'm nowhere near as goodlooking as jj, but I don't dislike him for that. I dislike him for how he's treated the women in the house and how he's been leading Josie on fro week while at the same time playing all innocent saying things like "what do you mean, feelings?".

The truth is, if I envy -anyone- it's actually Freddy Fisher from last year because he was intelligent ( and I'm think), he was articulate (I sometimes struggling saying hello to people) and he lives in an enormous, beautiful house (I live in a crappy ground-floor flat) and I loved how he was always calm, even when he was really angry-except when he argued with Lisa-and how he stuck up for Angel, who I loved, and how he treated everyone with respect.

For Me, guys like Rex,JJ,Victor, Jason and Derek Laud were more like the James Bonds in the house whereas Freddy Fisher was more like Cary Grant, both are strong male images, but with Cary Grant, you -knew- the women were respected as much as the men.

But perhaps I'm just a bit old fashioned-I believe in holding doors open for women, things like that.

I thought the public were past the "sympathy" part..
