Default Unpunished rule breaks - for some!

Josie and JJ still haven't been punished for removing their microphones, something they have done more than once, why! This is rule-breaking! Why does Dave get put up for eviction for his rule break - whilst they escape any form of punishment, nevermind being put up for eviction!

Last series or not - should bb be so arrogant as to think they can practice whatever double-standards they choose in the name of their brand of entertainment! The show should be allowed to go out with a bang - not all this boring showmance crap! Comments please!

I agree and what really annoyed me was the chap on BBLB last night saying it was ok for them to have some private time as they had had a stressful day - BB's way of saying they are going to do absolutely nothing about it. Makes me mad.

I didn't see that - who said that! Why should they be extended such priviledges - do it for one - you have to do it for all, otherwise is just favourism - pure and simple! Bloke is an idiot!

I think its all wrong too. BB should impose a punishment on the house as a consequence for taking microphones off, I'd love to see JJ reconcile his high moral sensibilities (!!) if everyone had to eat slop for 3 days!! Bet he wouldn't do it again.

Its a disgrace.

I actually have a sneaky suspicion half their drama is staged for the show. What else could they be secretly discussing?

Yeah, JJJ seem to have broken many of the rules of of BB and gone unpunished, presumably because the producers don't want to interrupt the turgid flow of the "fauxmance in bed" plot .....

Yep, you're preaching to converted here. It's obviously undetermined what they where talking about, for all we know they where discussing noms!

Yes you're right, eventhough John James is my favourite, turning off their microphones (again) is worse than talking about nominations and should be punished severely

I agree! They could also be discussing nominations - something they punished Dave for! The point is - they could be discussing ANYTHING - and should not be allowed the opportunity to do so! It really is unacceptable behaviour on bb's part - it is tantamount to taking the piss out of the viewers!

i imagine (and hope) that the punishment will come after the eviction. I am not sure what the punishment should be though. Not to talk for a whole day? Not to swear for a whole day? To not touch each other for a whole day? They could come up with something interesting. I don't think putting them up for nomination would be a good punishment because i don't think they would care. Maybe only give them the ability to only vote for one person next week not two?

Sorry can't find his name guess he wasn't that exciting it was an ex-SAS chap who was on to comment on Andrew's task. I couldn't believe he said it - just makes a mockery of the whole thing really.

That still wouldn't be fair though! They should have been put up with Dave - anything less - is unfair! BB were obviously scared that Josie might go - and couldn't risk it! The same probably applied to JJ - but he got put up by the hms - not much they could do about that! Sickening favourtism! Just as well it is the last series - who could ever take them seriously now!

I have to say that BB shpuld be applauded for applying some common sense to the situation. Did they break the rules yes they did, do different rules apply to them then other housemates, yes they do, and rightly so

At the end of the day John James and Josie are box office, and they are keeping the ratings up. Unfortunately watching Steve sleaze all over young women and Mario becoming more unstable by the day is not going to keep people interested. Their "will they, wont they" relationship has captured the publics imagination and it is in the inrerest of the show that they stay in.

Justice is a rare comodity in this "business of show" and people like Dave, Steve, and Mario are not entitled to it as they do not deserve it. They just dont have that "it" factor. Lets be honest here they are quite simply boring (and in Mario's case three sheets to the wind). When you think about it, Big Brother cracking down hard on them for rule breaks makes them interesting for a few seconds so in practical terms, Big Brother is doing them a favour.

True. Shabby was producers pet (and still is). Now when she is gone, they try to make JJ their next winner.

Surely not ?

Where do I start - what a load of good, old-fashioned bulls**te!

They are not keeping the ratings up - most people are sick of the JJ/Josie show - what the hell is entertaining about those two slobbering over each other - even if it is real - which is pretty obvious it isn't!

Maybe 'romance' is what rocks your boat (why not watch a romantic movie or read a Barbara Cartland) - but many of us don't feel the same way! On the whole people are not so much interested in 'will they' or 'won't they' - but simply annoyed at their attention-seeking antics and bb thrusting this drivel down our throats! Any many like some of the other hms!

And no favouritism of certain hms is not what the show is supposed to be about - it is supposed to be about the public's view and what they want - not what bb tell us we should want!

I kind of agree, but - right or wrong - I think that kind of manipulation goes against the original spirit of the show.

If the producers always shape the outcome of situations and decide to focus on showmance too much we may aswell be watching Hollyoaks.

Agreed - but as Zippy says - they have nothing to loose this year and can basically do what they like - which is spoiling the last series!

Firstly Yes they are keeping the ratings up. Figures are figures and they don't lie

Secondly Romance actually dosen't rock my boat, I'm a realist, and while many of you don't feel the same way, more of you do !

The show is "supposed to be about" whatever the production team decide it should be about. The old format had grown stale and needed to be revamped. Its taken the makers of the show along time to realise that the public are essentially stupid. They vote out the interesting characters and then complain that the show is boring

Thankfully this year the makers of the show are trying to ensure the public don't screw it up again and they will keep the likes of Ben JJ and Josie in the house for as long as possible.

People like Mario are expendable (and a future sex pest)
