It's limping towards a crap final that appears to be engineered for a John and Josie final two. Ill say why; because she is always the one that pushes these fauxmances usually and tries to get everybody believing in it.

To be honest I couldn't really give a **** about the 'romance', or whether or not he is leading her on/vice versa. All I know is that he's been a wanker this week and as he said tonight he's getting pissed off a lot now, which means he should stay. Sadly though, due to the clueless voters coming out in their droves, he probably won't.

Agree with cell and you. Josie is the security blanket for John James but Josie has her thumb. And that is also why John James is touchy feely with Josie. He gets comfort from them two being close and he bears with Josie's sexual advances (although he pushes her away) because he cannot lose his security blanket. That relationship is not going to work. There's no way "friends" can continue that kind of relationship outside the house without problems. The cameras are the barriers now, and once they're out, John James has to convince Josie about his feelings - and Josie needs to hear them (i.e. understand them emotionally).

The problem is that I don't think Josie will understand them emotionally. The way she has controlled JJ1 in the house and been sure to separate him from anyone he gets remotely close to shows that she is clearly a bunnyboiler. Rather frightening.

She'll get it at some point, but it takes time. John James has to say it again and again and again, but he is good at that. Eventually she'll understand.

It's not the fact that he's playing a game to get to the final (because he is), but the fact that there are thousands of naive hormonal tweenies who are so bloody taken in by the fake crapmance that they actually have swallowed it, hook, line and sinker and are keeping JJ1 in for all the wrong reasons. He would literally have to kill and eat a baby on the show to have any chance of losing their support, and even then they'd probably find reasons to excuse him. These are the JJ1 supporters I can't stand, the ones who like him only for his "good looks" and don't give a stuff about his lack of personality or character.
