As of this morning the theme is Guilty Pleasures.
Belle Amie are doing Footloose Trey Cohen is doing Stairway to Heaven Start of the songlist: http://xfactor-updates.com/live-show-3-songlist/ (This according to DS) Footloose is an epic fail as is STH - do these contestants ever listen to music or are they just too young and desperate? |

I can't even imagine what Diva Fever's choice would have been! This ought to be another theme bending week then; what do you bet at least One Direction and Matt sing something in the charts right now?

I really hope so, I haven't a clue how they are still there, but its started as to them in the bottom 2 now,(or 3)
There will never be a girlgroup winner of the X Factor and if as Simon says there are girlgroups already out there who are not as good as Belle Amie are then it really is a case that girlgroups generally are in a very bad way indeed. |

So yet again, a super broad category which means anyone can sing whatever they want :/

I'm surprised, week 3 is usually Big Band Week.

Simon always bangs on about how people have to be relevant in the competition and then wheels out the 1930s inspired big band week in week 3. Its about time it was dropped

I hope Wagner does the Spice Girls.

Maybe they'll save it for when there are 10 acts (or fewer) left in the competition; I expect it's a lot of pressure to put on the band to learn 12 pieces in a short time frame, in previous years week 3 has been when there are 10 acts so maybe in week 4 we'll get Big Band week, after another double elimination?
