Want to do your bit for the forum?

We have decided after discussions yesterday that the forum needs a christmassy theme to it this year.

If you would like a chance to design the next forum skin, send us a screen shot of how you think the forum should look for christmas, if you win, you not only get an award, but get to see your skin on the forum for the next few months

You can change all the colourings on the main theme, the main graphics on the page(logo etc.). Unfortunately the actual layout and buttons must remain the same though.

Lets see what you can do

To enter, please PM your design to any mod/admin...keeping it to PM should make it more of a surprise for people

Please try to get all entries to us by about 5pm 30/11/10.

No, it means we are giving the Graphics people something to do if they want. There hasn't been a graphic competition for a while, and there are some excellent designers and artists on here, gives them a chance to showcase something else on TiBB.

We are not forcing anybody to do it, and mods can enter too

To be fair, changing the look of the forum and actually having input on the way it's insides work is different.

I'm sorry I'm ruining this thread, I do feel bad, but I had to get this point across.

No well basically,

You aren't really doing sh*t if that makes sense when it comes to this skin thing.

It'll be US doing the work and all you will all be doing is sitting back.

I haven't got a problem with it but your post kind of made it sound as if we 'Whinge' for nothing and that this thread is the mods way of doing something when it's us doing it.

We thought we would be doing a nice thing letting you all get more involved...thats all.

Its not you doing all of the work, as your actual templates cant be used, as it will be just screenshots, james will still have to effectively make the skin...just it will be one of your ideas for the theme, and not ours.

You need to read the threads before you go off on one, we clearly stated we wanted YOU to do the stuff, stop looking for arguments.

I've still got to make the thing from your designs.

That's why I just want a colour scheme, logo (and maybe background graphic), so I can adapt a current theme.
